Ordered a Beef Rogan Josh curry, with rice (that I had to pay extra for) and a naan bread. The entire meal from top to bottom was horrible. I've never eaten a more flavourless meal, let alone a more flavourless Indian meal. The Naan bread was cold, inedible and had no taste. Furthermore, I ordered an Medium Rogan Josh, and I couldn't taste it at all? I had a about 5 pieces of small chunks of meat in the curry. It was so watery, that I ended up draining some of it out of my bowl into the sink after I realised I was eating soggy rice with water with some added food colouring. I've never known you can make Indian food without taste. I paid $30 for that order and it ended up all in the bin because it was actually that horrible and I went without dinner. When I raised the issue, I was told I would not receive my money back and then they offered me the smallest version of 'store credit' you could image, which was a 'free delivery' on the next curry.
Like I'd be buying it again. Whoever are the people giving 5 stars, are either getting very lucky about what time they go in, have horrible taste, or are straight up lying. Beware of this store. I've eaten curries at most places all over Brisbane, this is by far the absolute worst Indian restaurant I've ever had the displeasure of trying in my entire life. Unfortunately, I'm not under or overstating...
Read moreI recently dined at Brew &Spice, and it was a delightful experience that truly showcased the richness of Indian cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and aromatic spices promised a memorable meal — and it delivered.
We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crisp and filled with a flavorful potato-pea mixture. For mains, we tried the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala, both served with fluffy basmati rice and garlic naan that was hot and fresh from the tandoor. The spices were well balanced — bold, but not overwhelming — and the portions were generous.
Service was friendly and attentive, although a bit slow during peak hours. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations for those less familiar with Indian dishes.there is two girls (maanu & nidhi) their customers dealing is admirable
Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The menu also had good vegetarian and vegan options, which is always a plus.
Overall, Brew&Spice is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian flavors in a cozy setting. Highly recommended for both newcomers to Indian cuisine and...
Read moreI’d actually give 0 stars if there was an option. Food was disgusting and salty. Disgusting service. When my order arrived my drinks I paid for were not in there. I asked the restaurant about them and they said they would send them out to me. I then tasted how salty everything was including a raita dip which is strange. I told the man on the phone and he started laughing saying he won’t send my drinks because he was worried I would hit someone because I was abusive. What is going on in your head to say that randomly to a customer?????? Abusive to tell you I can’t eat the food I paid for because it’s all to salty? I’m a young woman and don’t understand what’s going through your head to say that to me. If you want to steal my money by not sending me what I paid for and can’t listen that I’m not happy about the food, that just shows the quality in the establishment your running. Worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. The mango chutney was ok though probably because it wasn’t...
