Roll'd Mt Gravatt — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Tried out some rice bowls thanks to a BOGOF promotion, ordering online for pickup from store. It told me 20 minutes, and when I got there a few minutes later than the time advised, my order still hadn’t been made. There was maybe one other customer’s order at the time but the store didn’t look very busy at all and it wasn’t like peak mealtime so I don’t understand the delay. Would’ve just ordered in person at the counter but the offer seemed to be only available when ordering online or via their app.

Took the items home to eat and that’s when I discovered they got my order wrong on a number of fronts: beef turned into pork requested brown rice option but got white requested chilli on the side for one dish wasn’t honoured

Taste wise the food wasn’t too bad, and for $13.50 the amount of food was reasonable, though a lot of it is rice and the meat to rice ratio wasn’t particularly high. I think there are plenty of other options around at that price point especially in this location, so I don’t expect to return to this...

Disappointing experience.

I was standing there for 10min while my food was all ready and packed sitting on bench. I asked twice if that was my food and ready they said No it’s not but it was.

We ordered quite a lot and they forgot to pack 3 items. Lucky I checked in car before driving away and went back to ask them for the missing items, while they gave me the missing items but there was no apology for getting order wrong or for the inconvenience.

Bao was very dry. It had a little sauce in one corner and the bun was flaking. Bao buns are meant to be moist not flakey.

I understand the place is busy but the staff working there are not welcoming at all. They all seem to have attitude - may be that’s the vide they are going for? Won’t be going back anytime...

I’m Vietnamese and alway likes supporting Viet food. I have had a quick order for lunch on Monday around 1:45pm lunch time . Customer service is fail including blunt question, unfriendly approach, begging for smile, especially uhappy when I asked about the price of the BBH bowl because it looked confused, staff offered no polite gesture to a 38w pregnant lady like me. I needed to lean overthe counter to touch and pay. It was a Viet staff that I was talking about. Although she served my bowl of BBH shortly later but again no thank you or goodbye, starring at me is all she did. One younger Caucasian staff was nice enough to offer me a tray and lid because the soup was hot. Food was fair, you won’t get a true BBH here. Valley Roll’d treated me way better than this one here at...
