Poor, amateurish service for top prices in a run down, unmaintained venue. Came here for a work event (which seems to be their forte) and the service was pathetic. Staff were clueless and clearly didn’t give a toss, the few bar staff would just disappear at times. When they brought around cheese boards there were no knives to cut the cheese with, the guy they had running around initially ignored people trying to get his attention then looked utterly confused that the lack of knives was a problem and then brought out knife and fork cutlery sets and dumped them besides the cheese boards. They also dumped huge boards of deli meats at opposite ends of the venue to the cheese. So you were either standing near the cheese, or a full board of salami which is not really something most people eat on its own. Some of the above may sound like a first world problem but the business no doubt paid a lot of money to book the place and for the catering and the service was completely amateur. The food itself was not great either but would be passable if it was cheap (it’s not). The venue itself is rundown and clearly not maintained, the mens toilets are DISGUSTING - one of the cubicles is missing a door, the other one’s door lock doesn’t work and the cubicles are physically falling apart. What are you meant to do if you actually need to use the toilet for a number two, take the lift to the ground floor??? I actually came here 6 months ago for something else and noticed the same thing with the toilets so they clearly don’t care and can’t be bothered fixing them. What the hell.

An unforgettable wedding cocktail party at 16 Antlers! We recently hosted our celebration here, and it was nothing short of perfection. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless and that every guest felt welcomed and indulged. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everyone had drinks and delicious food throughout the event. The manager kept us informed every step of the way, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and addressing any concerns promptly. A special shoutout to Olivia Peacock for orchestrating everything beautifully. Her attention to detail and dedication ensured that our wedding celebration was truly magical. Our guests, many of whom traveled from interstate, were blown away by the stunning location and breathtaking views. We couldn't agree more with their sentiments! If you're looking for the perfect venue for your future events, look no further than 16 Antlers. We highly recommend it for its impeccable service, stunning setting, and unforgettable experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding celebration truly extraordinary

Staying at the Mercure Brisbane, we decided to cap off a day of travel with a visit to Sixteen Antlers, the hotel’s rooftop gem, for a cheeky drink and a sunset that could make even a grumpy koala smile. The mocktails? Absolute legends—next-level delicious, like they were mixed by a wizard with a PhD in refreshment. Exactly what the doctor ordered to soothe our jet-lagged souls. The atmosphere was pure chill, with vibes so relaxed we nearly forgot how to stand up. Perfect for unwinding while the Brisbane skyline put on a golden-hour show. The staff? Bloody brilliant! They served up top-notch banter alongside the drinks, keeping us grinning like kids in a lolly shop. We’re already plotting our return to Sixteen Antlers—those mocktails and that sunset are calling our names. If you’re after a spot to sip, laugh, and soak in the good life, this place is a must. Five stars, no hesitation!

We were expecting to be at the Rooftop Bar for a function we booked. When we arrived to the venue we were told our function had been moved downstairs due to the wet weather. We understood that there was a wet weather plan but when we arrived to the venue it wasn't raining, it had just stopped spitting and it didn't rain for the remainder of the evening. When asked why we couldn't go upstairs we were told all of the furniture was wet and there was a bad weather forecast. Even though staff were aware of the forecast they seemed very unorganised. There were no resources downstairs. The bar was skeletal and there was no atmosphere. The staff seemed inexperienced and misinformed. For the first two hours (Approximately) of the function there were only two bar staff for a function of at least 20 people (Which was originally meant to be 40) on an open bar tab which meant a lot of cocktails. We also shared the space with another large function. This seemed to have left the staff overwhelmed and our guests waiting very patiently. At one point I ordered my first drink, a cocktail, then a large group of my guests ordered after me and received all of their drinks before me. The food was late 30 minutes on 2 separate occasions and a lot of the guests commented about how underwhelming the food was and that a lot of it was dry or tough. We say thank you to the gentlemen behind the bar who really did try to make it a good night for us but it seemed like they were thrown under the bus and left to just deal with it. Very poorly managed. There was no hospitality from the management team, they made us feel like we were the problem and weren't very accommodating. A lot of time and energy went into organising this special occasion but some of your team didn't make it feel very special at all. We couldn't wait to leave but felt trapped as we couldn't until we reached our...

Duty manager is super rude! Walked in and no greeting asked me to check in then to show him after he watch me to it. Then when my friend and I went to order the first three things we ordered they were out. of at 6.30pm. Then I ordered a drink and a meat platter the same duty manager took the order then walked away and started to do something on the other register. Another person then came over the corner and went to served my friend to only be called over by the duty manager who walked away from my order. So while two people are on a looking at a register not serving the 6 people around the bar a 3rd bartender came around the corner and served my friend and then he serve two more and then came to me and asked if I was ok as I was still standing there to pay. I said I placed my order with the duty manager but he didn't take my payment. The 3rd bar tender said he hadn't even placed my order. So after at least 10mins at the bar trying to order it was placed. Then I had to ask 3 times after waiting 20 mins or more where it was. Finally after waiting maybe 30 mins it came and it was $30 for a few pieces of salami, prosciutto and 3 pickles. Way over priced for a few slices slapped on a plate and took too long. Will never return. Duty manager needs an attitude change or to quit as he is not welcoming at all - Was not polite and did not provide the service I was over charged for! We at least spent $300 for...
