Im a fan of Starbuck and particularly this branch because it is handy for me th grab food &drink to work but today is definitely my last time here. Im so dissappointed in service today. It said open at 6 am so Im sure if I m the first customer of the day and order one cold drink and croissant,it would not take almost 10 mins. Today I was the first client and even though I ordered the same regular order but still have some mistakes in taking order through to charge me from regular staff and I thought I would get drink after refund and pay again because I didnt cancel order ,just correct the price but no ,not start making my order yet. So I would not waste my time to wait for the shop open for 15 mins to get delay service and a bit delay opening to miss a train to work. I grab drink and food here before like this since shop open as the first client but I got all orders less than 10 mins even in 5 mins. When I asked staff if he did my drink yet as I saw only food on the counter and he said there are other 3 orders so but I m the first client since the door open and my drink even take shorter time than other those orders that he was making. Thank you for fine...

My usual cafe that is open on weekends is temporarily closed for some reason, and there's no other options near my area of the Valley. On these past 2 weekends, I have walked down to Starbucks Valley Metro as it is the closest place open on weekends. Each time I have ordered a short soy latte with an extra shot, but varied the sweeteners between one sugar, dolce cinnamon syrup or vanilla syrup. I don't know if it's the soy milk they use, or if the espresso itself is burnt, but I can never get through more than half of the coffee before throwing it away. At a premium price of $7-8, it's a massive waste of money. I go to a small local cafe on weekdays and order the same coffee. $5.20, amazing coffee and the best customer service ever. You'd think a massive international chain like Starbucks would get it right, but they seem to fall short on every occasion.

Also, to anyone wanting to try the Plant-based Brekky Roll: don't! I tried one on the weekend and threw...

For the past two days my co-workers and i have frequented this Starbucks for our morning coffee. However, we are extremely appalled with the customer service at this location. I ordered two danishes on the app, when i got there they were sold out (which was fine). The girl at the counter asked if we wanted any other pastries or a refund, i asked for the refund but was met with an attitude. She simply printed out my receipt and told me i needed to do the refund online, i was confused and asked for some clarification on the process. She was dismissive and didn't offer any apology or clarification. Emily, if you were having a bad day thats understandable, but you can't take it out on all the customers in the store. I am now $20 out of pocket and have to figure out how to do this refund myself. I will not be going back in the morning...

7:30 am I know no coffee shops open around, I got there ordered tall long black, with dash of milk. Paid $5,80 . I needed a normal long black with a bit of milk right, considering my past experience I knew they sometimes give a weak coffee when I order a normal long black so I today said an extra shot and paid an extra fifty cents. Please checkout the picture see a latte, and even a very weak latte. The worst is no sorry when I told my disappointment but instead he said “yes this is exactly what you’ve ordered.” Well sorry but this’s not the first time having along black here. Just say sorry. Usually there’s a lovely female staf there blonde and so kind. If she was there I know she wouldn’t react the same way.

Come here weekly before some university work and always a pleasant experience. It can sometimes be busy and you can visibly see the pressure and attempt to keep up, so sometimes it can be slow and that’s expected. Generally get my coffee (and sometimes food) in under 5 minutes though which is pretty good really. Props to the staff here for managing such a busy venue in the heart of fortitude valley. Recommend the cold brew range if you need coffee rocket fuel.

These days I don’t mind missing the train in Fortitude Valley, I relish the opportunity to chill out with a chai latte at the new Starbucks coffee shop! This place is beautifully designed, both inside and out. The staff are friendly and very efficient, providing speedy customer service even when the place is filling up. A superb job has been done in revamping the Valley Metro, and Starbucks is a very welcome and popular addition to the array of new shops.
