I will be finding an excuse to host a function at The Prince Consort again! Exceeded expectations 💯. I hosted a Bridal Shower in The Deck function space which went extremely smoothly and the staff were 10000/10 amazing!! Genuinely, all guests said how well looked after they were by staff and that they were professional but personable and kept a great energy throughout. Seriously, the best staff I've had for an event by far, they would go above and beyond to ensure we were all happy. Food came out fresh and hot and definitely delicious. I was impressed by the signage printed for each platter and the menu at the side. I wasn't expecting that level of detail. The gluten free guests were in awe of how well catered for they were and didn't expect so much of the food to be gluten free--and taste just as yummy. I felt very proud to have chosen to host the event with The Prince Consort. My only note is to think about the type of function you book in The Deck. The live music below on Saturday arvo made it a little loud for some Bridal Shower games and conversations. But it was still stunning, nonetheless.

I had the pleasure of stepping into a magical winter wonderland at the Snow Week VIP Launch Event held at The Prince Consort. This unforgettable evening was nothing short of spectacular—a true snow-filled extravaganza right in the heart of Brisbane! From the moment I walked in, I was transported into a winter paradise, complete with twinkling lights, snowflakes, and an atmosphere that made me feel like a snow queen for the night. The event was filled with endless entertainment, fantastic drinks, and a lively crowd, making it a night to remember. The Prince Consort knows how to throw an event! Their attention to detail and commitment to creating an immersive experience is truly commendable. If you’re looking for an extraordinary night out, I highly recommend grabbing tickets for next year’s Snow Week event in June—it promises to be even bigger and better. Thank you to The Prince Consort for bringing the magic of winter to Brisbane and for hosting such a memorable and enchanting evening. I can’t wait to return next year and experience the wonder all over again!

Burger enthusiast back at it again with the review!! TLDR - Would only recommend coming for the drinks, not the food. Price: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Food: 1/5 They have a good option of beers at a great price. Food, average pub prices. Took awhile, understandable as we had 12 people there. Nobody's steak was cooked right, had to be returned, they got it right on the second attempt. My burger... tsk tsk tsk. Not how you make one! Bun was dry, almost stale, not much flavour throughout, a tiny bit of sauce wouldn't have gone a stray.

Thanks to the team at The Prince Consort for ensuring my event was more successful than I envisaged. From the time of making the booking with one of the functions managers at The Prince, a date and the right space was secured quickly and from there the communication to make sure my event was an enjoyable experience for my guest started. I chose La La Land and being a Saturday, Olivia went out of her way to ensure we had the venue private for my event up until they opened to the public. The food was modern, chic, sensational, every platter came out well presented and extremely tasty. The service from the staff was a stand out, smiling happy team members that helped in creating a great energy for my guest. There was no problem in getting drinks to my guest, there were more than enough staff, fussing over us and making sure the experience overall was delivered. I had a lot of audio and visual requirments and i was given a total proffessional to ensure everything sounded and looked amazing, thank you Pete Smith. Thanks to the entire team at The Prince Consort, Olivia, Jason, Michael and all the staff that turned my Birthday Soiree into the ultimate disco party, my guest are still raving about this night. No wonder this place is award winning, hats off to you all, bravo, well done, this really was an exceptional touch of the excellence to make my event...

From the first moment that my son made initial contact with the Prince Consort, through to Olivia showing us around on a Saturday, all the communications with Olivia and then the actual party was truly 5 star service. Olivia was amazing with communications and answered all questions professionally and in a timely manner, she provided great feedback and suggestions when we weren't sure about how much/what to order. I felt confident going into the party on Saturday night that everything would be as we expected and we were not let down.

We loved how the entire pub has been decorated and loved the clearly signed directions to our son's 21st and the Bowie rooms. The staff on the night were so helpful and really awesome. The Bowie rooms are so beautiful and have great decorations. The USB's in the TV's worked perfectly. The process of passing out the wrist bands was easy. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. The microphone for the speeches was available and worked perfectly. At the end of the night, we didn't feel pressured to leave and were quite happy to stay while the general public came in for the next function. A number of the guests also told me how great the venue was and what a great party it was and the team definitely provided an excellent experience. I can't think of any improvements required - it was such a...

The Prince Karen

I had an hour or so to kill before church and someone from the Valley wanted me to take them there, and I also needed dinner so I decided to eat here. I had been here once before.

After ordering, two of the staff came up to me and requested that I cover up my t shirt, which said "it's okay to be white," a completely inoffensive and true statement. The bouncer gave the reason that "its 2022," as though the current year has any bearing on whether a statement is true or not. I decided to leave instead.

I suspect that some Karen or BCG saw the shirt and complained to management. Management then decided to placate said Karen. This would have been fine, if the management had just admitted that this was a financial decision (Karen plus her entourage would easily outspend me), but instead they tried to shame me. To shame me for nothing but the crime of being white.

So shame on them. They told a man meeting someone for church that he was not welcome because of some shrill and intolerant woman.

They did however refund my meal and I was able to find the same thing for almost half the price at one of the many vendors in the nearby mall.

0/10 would not recommend If you come here, don't. If you...
