Walk-ins only, and such is the popularity that the place generally swells up every night with locals and wannabe locals, and generally at least one bright-eyed and chirpy first date (you can always tell a first date, because they listen with their eyes - on second dates, you only listen with your ears, and thereafter you don't listen at all). The Japanese-ish food is hearty and reasonably priced (no working man should leave hungry), and can be washed down with something from the respectable range of local and eclectic beers, while simmering in the background is a Spotify playlist that ancient civilisations would war over like Helen of Troy, and will have you Shazaming every few minutes between bites of teriyaki chicken. As the menu clearly states strictly NO changes can be made, I fear that it would not be acceptable to ask for no sauce. I am bemused by this odd addition to a sushi plate. My okonomiyaki was delicious, thank heavens. Tasty and fresh, with ample bonito flakes and sauce. I drank a yuzu lime and bitters – delicious and refreshing. It is a pleasant place to while away some time. Basically it serves Japanese and Korean-inspired dishes, and provides wine, craft beers and spirits. Orders are taken and paid for at the window; dishes are brought out...
