TLDR: A breezy simple place, with great friendly service, and decent food!

My wife and I arrived for our weekly date lunch on a cold and wet late morning. The seating was outdoor and saved by the nice outdoor heater above our heads.

Service was easy and done via QR code - and while the paper menus say that lunch was only served from 11:30am I was able to from the lunch menu at 11am.

The food came out in good time, served up with a genuine smile :)

The food itself was decent.

The Chicken Paratha Taco was nice, as with the Chilli Calamari. Both were good, though missing something to push them to 5 stars. The highlight was the Oki Chips - Okonamiyaki inspired chips, loaded with seaweed flakes, pickled ginger and Okonamiyaki sauces -...

Aji = YUM! Honestly the best curry I have ever had. I’ve scoured Brisbane far and wide searching for a great curry only to be disappointed by the vast majority of restaurants, unit iI found Aji. The flavour is out of this world and the accompanying raita, tomato chutney together with a tasty paratha is the perfect combination for the dedicated curry fan. The energy of this place is amazing, a family run business with the mum "Nalini” adding her Indian flair to the electic menu, The son “Nick" concocts the most incredible cocktails one could imagine all supported by the super friendly dad and daughter who provide the most exceptional service. Nice cafĂ© with a chill atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered the poached eggs on toast with hash browns. The eggs were cooked really well but the toast was a bit too overdone and quite hard. I only ate one of the hash browns as I found them too herby for my taste — a bit overpowering. The presentation was lovely, though, and my English breakfast tea came in a cute pot with milk on the side, which was a nice touch.

Tried a few chips from my friend’s spice bag and they were delicious — might try that next time instead.
