Highly anticipated but left disappointed. My husband and I had been waiting to visit this new establishment in Busselton for months and were able finally to visit this week. The atmosphere was vibrant and relaxed, staff were friendly and engaging and there were many zones to stay and eat - all great hallmarks of a promising venue. The menu had a lot of options and we ordered the roasted carrots, chargrilled lamb and BBQ brisket. The BBQ meal was good- huge portions of brisket, slaw and accompaniments went together well. The roasted carrots were ok, it came with a yogurt dressing, almonds and deep fried .......basil? (I think as this was not on menu and did not add to the dish) the almonds lacked texture and tasted as if they had been soaked in honey? Not sure, but the dish had so much dressing it was hard to eat without dripping everywhere. It was sweet, just sweet, there was no texture or complexity to the flavour at all. The lamb ribs had a similar issue and unfortunately the dressing, hummus and labeneh all melded into a soup under the lamb which became inedible with a fork. Not sure where the pomegranate molasses was, perhaps melded into the soup? The lamb it self was a huge portion around 8 ribs which had so much fat (at least 50%) that I couldn’t eat more than 3 ribs before taking the rest home for the dog. There was a good flavour to the lamb once I squeezed the lemon over the dish but overall was left disappointed. Quality over quantity is needed here. Again service was great but food left us dissatisfied. With so many amazing choices of establishments around this business needs to hit both quality and consistency in all areas of its services. I certainly hope this improves in the future for...

My partner, and 11 yr old daughter, and I are visiting from Perth for the weekend. We searched this on google and took a stab in the dark. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, how nicely decorated and upper-class this felt compared to other bars around the area.

The manager 'Charlie" I believe his name is, is a stellar bloke. They were a chef down tonight and their order for chicken nuggets (for my daughters meal) didn't arrive this week. (Completely out of their control) I went up to choose something else for my daughters meal. Charlie told me not to worry about it and he will take care of it and not to pay for it. He was honestly so lovely. So were all the other staff. Exceptional customer service.... the korean wings that I ordered as a replacement came out in the blink of an eye.

The food was absolutely spectacular. We left hardly anything on our plates. Steak cooked to perfection, the parmi was huge ! And cheesy ! The korean, wings looked amazing and by the look on my daughters messy face and hands at the end of it.... she really enjoyed them.

Tried to find the owner before we left to say thankyou. But he was super busy serving tables and being an all-rounder. What a top bloke. Kudos to him.

We will be coming back. Thats how customer service is done. That's true hospitality when it wasn't even needed or...

When we got to Hally's last night to celebrate my Mums 60th Birthday, we were greeted by the friendly & lovely Karina (sorry for the spelling!) who helped us with our table as we had booked online to sit on the alfresco but wanted to book on the rooftop bar, not realising that you can't book a table on the rooftop. Karina suggested we go up and check if there was a free table, which there luckily was. Unfortunately there ended up being a big function of people standing right next to our table instead of in the function area & was a bit too loud for us, so about an hour after we went upstairs we came back down and asked Karina if we could move back to our table in the alfresco and she was more than accommodating. The food was lovely, we had gnocci, pork belly, chicken and lamb shoulder amongst our table. The lamb shoulder was a little dry, but we did pass this feedback on. The table service from our waitress Hana was fantastic, she was tentative to our needs and ensured she kept checking on us before, during and after our meals. We ended up in the beer garden for awhile before we left for the night and was a wonderful atmosphere. When we left Karina was lovely and wished us Merry Christmas. We will definitely return again, thank you to all who made it a...

An absolute must when visiting Busselton Immediately upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Peter who was friendly, engaging and invited us to sit anywhere we felt comfortable. The venue is beautiful. We ordered chicken wings, which we order everywhere we go. Having recently returned from South Korea I can say with supreme confidence Albie’s are by far THE BEST I have ever eaten. While they are fried they are not greasy or crumbed, rather crispy and moist and the sauce was divine. Definitely not the usual over-sauced gochujang knock off you usually find in Australia. While the menu suggests it as I share I will return to eat it as a meal. They were accompanied by a delightfully fresh salad. Having been so thoroughly impressed we returned the following evening to sample more. Peter urged us to try the seafood platter for 2 which had lobster on it as a special for $60. OMG. My partner is a big eater and we could not finish it. Im not a mussel fan but we quickly devoured the chilli mussels and the portion of squid was huge, fresh and delicious. Much as we like to expand our culinary base we will definitely return for our final day in Busselton to sample more.

Very disappointed. Came to Busselton for one night. Decided to come here for dinner (out of many lovely options). Food was delicious until I pulled a large piece of plastic out of my mouth. Didn’t want to cause a fuss or complain however when I let the manager know he was very dismissive. Didn’t even offer anything more than a quick apology. Never mind a drink or refund for the meal considering I could have choked! Manager completely undermined the situation. Extremely disappointing after spending over 100 dollars on the meal.

Atmosphere and live music was good. Food coming out looked good too. Just service for drinks was extremely slow. Waited 45 minutes to be served to get a lemon lime and bitters. One of the bar staff was very rude about it too. Definitely need some more bar staff who are on the ball begind the bar. I saw a cocktail sit there for over an hour which someone had obviously paid for but they didn't even call anyone's name out (which they were doing all night)
