Not a positive experience this morning . Wife stood for a minute before he noticed wife was a the counter to order. Ordered 2 plates of Rye with maple syrup and almond butter , large latte and green juice. Came out with two plates with plain rye bread small latte not large .Asked for correct order from waitress and then male server then came out and played semantics saying we ordered rye bread . Yes rye with maple and almond butter .Apparently we forgot to say Rye fruit loaf but we did say Rye with almond butter and maple and large latte . Please next time when serving customers maybe it would not be good practice to argue . We would have been more than happy to keep the plain rye and be brought some maple and almond butter but you decided to argue instead.Noticed you got another tables order wrong too which got sent back maybe next time you should listen .Not a good look for Byron when other cafes are so welcoming...

Venue was lovely, staff were friendly, however they were grossly misinformed with there menu. I was told by 2 members of staff that the bagel i ordered was definitely gluten free. Being a celiac i asked , then asked again.. After eating it, i commented on how delicious the bagel was for GF. I was then told by a different staff member that it was not Gluten free at all but made on rye. I was actually horrified at hearing this as even a tiny amount of gluten makes me react. True to form i was violently ill for the next 4 hours . I am writing this review so that no one else has to go through what i did. The management were not that concerned and brushed it off. Such a nice little cafe - too bad it's vegan or vegetarian. They do have proper milk which is nice. If you came here for a quick coffee, make sure your phone is charged or you have a book to read. A simple take away flat white took close to 20 minutes to receive and this was on a non busy period. The staff all seem to have that catwalk model face with not much in the way of a smile and the coffee guy is pretty much getting flogged whilst the rest of the girls talk and dance around the kitchen - which is fine, but if someone orders a takeaway, it usually means they want to get their coffee and scoot. Please prioritise them first and let the cafe dwellers...
