I usually love ordering my BBT here, since I work in the stores nearby, and the staff are usually very friendly but today when I ordered my drink, the lid spilt out which I am normally fine with when it pops up because it just gets redone however today, the girl working started to cut through the lid with scissors since it was stuck, getting the scissors in the drink and spilling some out. I asked to have it remade since normally when that happens the staff are happy to just replace it, but the girl gave me the death glare and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I had to explain to her that I wasn't happy with the fact that the scissors got into the drink and she looked annoyed the entire time making my new drink, even though there were not many customers in line at the time. Thankfully my drink came out fine the second time, if not a bit less filled and with pieces of powder not stirred in properly. Overall the experience left a foul taste in my mouth. The staff there are normally lovely and I hope this will be a one time thing since I will not be happy going back expecting the same...

Extremely Disappointed with the Service

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences. I ordered a strawberry matcha, only to find it was just plain matcha. When I politely brought it back and explained the issue, I was met with annoyed looks — not even a simple apology.

Instead of remaking the drink properly, the staff member took my already-opened cup and poured strawberry syrup into it. When it started dripping down the sides, he just poured the whole thing into a new cup and handed it back to me. No care, no effort, and still no apology.

Mistakes happen — that’s understandable. But the bare minimum is to acknowledge the mistake, remake the order properly, and treat the customer with kindness and respect. A smile and a sincere apology go a long way.

I can’t help but wonder if the way I was treated had anything to do with my appearance. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced dismissive or sour treatment here.
