Cup of Joy — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

Came here again after a lengthy lay-off.

We ordered a sausage roll each that came out FROZEN!

And a coffee that was so.bitter that I used 5 sugars (and I usually have none).

Sorry, people. Will not be returning.

When someone orders gnocchi, it's an idea to make this the hero of the dish. Please don't cover it with beans. And certainly don't put the parmesan on the beans. This goes on the dumplings.

Oh, and the coffee was not good.

It's nice to be called a liar. Are you going to tell me I didn't have the chicken parmigiana either? It was quite spicy. I forgot it came with ham, my mistake. Not being a chef, I'm not sure. Is there meant to be as much or more ham than chicken? While I thank you for the single small glass of water, if you serve salty and spicy food, would it not be diligent to offer more water than a single small serving? Or does tap water now cost too much? The gravy was very runny.

It's clear that you are targeting a certain clientele because I can't see kiddies tolerating the taste.

Cup of Joy is a wonderful cafe, where staff are friendly and inviting; which made the visit all the way from south-side Canberra feel all the more worth it. In addition, their food and service was great and wonderful, my experience with my company definitely left us leaving in joy. ☺️

I tried their shakshouka, and it was such a delicious and mouthwatering first experience to that particular dish/cuisine, I'm really keen to go back for it again.

Their house-made peach iced tea was refreshing! I highly recommend it if you're a peach tea enjoyer.

The coffee wasn’t good. I was asking an large latte in a mug and somehow you gave me a glass not even large size. The coffee taste was so bitter and I guess if that was the coffee extract time was too long and so that the milk is not enough for that glass and also milk was bubbling on top.

Raisin toast was so soakie taste. Can’t explain the taste but just like too much moisture and wet and taste just like eating a piece of “yeast”.

The person who do cashier not sure what the customer going to order, he requires someone next to him and confirm and re confirm again for a customer’s simple cafe order.
