We googled this place since we are craving korean food and believed the number of people who did the reviews but unfortunately this place didnt live up to the standard of korean cuisine. The soup is completely tasteless and very watery. We ordered 2 kinds of soup, the beef soup and seaweed soup. The beef on that beef soup is very chewy like a gum and has big pieces, so we just spat out most of it. The seaweed soup has this weird taste which is not very appetizing. The fried chicken is also tasteless, thank God for the bone sauce that somehow helps make it edible. And lastly the teokbokki which is also tasteless aside from that little kick of spice. The service is okay, we managed to sit straightaway since there are not a lot of people. I just wish the chef in this place would taste their food before they serve it. Its just a very sad experience being a melburnian who has a lot of good food in our state. I wish this restaurant will improve so no money...
Read moreUnfortunately, this was one of the worse food I’ve ever taste. It was Asian towards Korean fusion. Should followed my instinct not to book when I checked the menu but the high rating was quite convincing. Anyway, we had the Kara-octopus. It wasn’t fresh. We tried really hard to eat it, as we didn’t like to waste food. It was terrible. The salmon ceviche and oyster weren’t available. We had B One signature fried chicken. Honestly, KFC tastes better. The bao and tofu soup none of them were appetising. The pork ginger stir fry wasn’t that bad. The place definitely has a poor food selection and source. Everything we had weren’t made with respect. Service wasn’t friendly either. The girl who served us look depressed. Ambiance of the place looked sad and run down. I honestly don’t know where the high rating comes from. Maybe Canberra’s...
Read moreI've always been a big fan of B-one (not Bone). However, last night left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Mainly to do around the service and treatment of customers, or lack of.
Last night, they were understaffed, which I understand, but they started to prioritise large number tables that had no bookings or only just showed up instead of smaller groups that have been waiting for 20+ minutes for a table.
BUT, during service, I witnessed one of the young male waitstaff take a piece of customers chicken off the plate, while he was walking it to the customer from the "ready station" and put it in his front left apron pocket. He then proceeded to serve the customers' food like normal and then went out the front and ate it. This is unbelievable and outright disrespectful towards the customer...
