Food is good. Coffee is okay. Staff is busy and keeping orders flowing at a reasonable pace, but operates in a somewhat stern manner. But the system they have in place to call for people to collect their orders, needs much improvement. You simply cannot hear them when they call you. Especially those collecting food which you need to do from inside the building (off limits during covid). It is bad when you are unfamiliar with their system, the staff doesn't tell you how they will call out your name, nor do they tell you where you can collect your orders. Coffee and food are collected from different places so there can be confusion. If usage of the internal building is disallowed during covid, provide more umbrellas outside. Allow people to wait for their orders (with a mask) inside where there is unused abundant room, so they can hear their orders called. If you make customers wait outside, there simply isn't enough room with people waiting along with diners all in the same place (1.5 meter rule), and they cannot hear orders called. Just to reiterate, I was charged a card surcharge. My only assumption is a card surcharge was applied because I ordered through their QR code ordering.
Even then, it is inconsistent to say no card surcharges are applied when they clearly are pending your method of ordering.
Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The quality and taste of the food was also of good standard although overpriced for the portion size. More specifically:
Paying $28.60 for a sando is quite overpriced. Especially when it was not exactly filling and the portion of mustard/pickles are small. I believe the sando would benefit from a side of greens or fries to make it a more substantial meal.
Similar, $7.70 for a relatively small glass of an iced coffee is expensive. Noting I found my iced coffee to have no flavour but milk.

There is no better sight than watching Duncan almost caressing each cup as he makes a superb coffee. Duncan is the star barista of the cafe and passes his experience and knowledge onto all the staff. He is always training and helping every staff member to perform to an exceptional level. Duncan is a lovely man so look out for him. The owner Yit, is a really nice man too and he has a range of friendly and helpful staff. Many of the staff are graduates from many disciplines.
