Bluerock Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in East Perth

Went to this restaurant on a Sunday night. There was one waitress, two cooks and a bartender were on shift. We waited one hour and 30 minutes for all of our food to come out. The restaurant wasn't even busy. When my food did come out, I had a very poor portion of chips (14 chips, I counted), which was quite pathetic. My friends fried chicken was dry and bland. The owners were sitting behind us the entire time and we're getting all the service. They also didn't take Amex which wasn't a surprise after everything that transpired. The waitress was very polite and she contiuously kept apologising, because she knew we were tired of waiting and hungry, but there was little she could do as her hands were tied during her busy multitasking shift. I would highly recommend not dining here. This was a nightmare choice and regret choosing...

I was staying in the area and initially popped in for a drink. Staff incredibly polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Came back the next evening for dinner. On hearing me lament the lack of decent seafood in my home town it was suggested I try the fish of the day. Whilst this triggered the usual "uhhuh, upselling" thought it was great advice. A phenomenal dish. Superb presentation, incredibly tasty and delivered after exactly the correct amount of time. I was allowed to sample a couple of wines but took staff recommendation. Great to see good food and service again. I highly recommend...

dissapointed after reading the reviews and deciding to eat here. We ordered a parma and what was to be a sizzling steak. Parma was like a store bought chicken snitzel from coles, chips were cold when the arrived salad was nice. What was to be a sizzling steak dish came out as two beef patties like hamburgers with a fried egg on top with a handful of chips and a white sauce.... although it tasted nice., it was 2 hamburger patties!
