Read moreTried it as trying to try new things. Got the chili basil vegetables (mild) with rice as I love the basil veggies at Royal Cambodia around the corner. Packaging was great. Staff were nice. They had to remake my phoned order as they had assumed I wanted beef when I just asked for veggies. It must be a popular order. Still it didn’t take long to get my order. Got it back to the office and very disappointed. The veggies are a great mix and well prepared and cooked. Rice is nice. But the soupy sauce is not mild and mainly tastes like beef and a white pepper like burn. No sweet chili or Thai basil flavours. It burns so much that I had to stop eating it very quickly. My mouth and lips still burn 10 minutes later. I assume that the soup base is beef.
I probably won’t be back but would be willing to try something else of the menu if I was going there for a work lunch. Menu has lots of interesting choices including drinks. I just would need them to make...

We already have enough colonised Thai restaurants here.
Unfortunately, I live far away in the upper north, but if I have a chance to visit the city, I will definitely...
