Only reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because thats the minimum requirement.
I had the displeasure of encountering 3 extremely unhelpful staff when I went in last week to request assistance with filing a damaged goods report.
Not only did I receive zero assistance, I had to deal with 3 personnel who refused to acknowledge that AusPost would be liable for any damage my goods received whilst in their possession during transport.
Despite the fact I had all the evidence there showing the puncture wound which traveled through the postage bag, through the cardboard container box and finally into the concealed container causing it to shatter.
All 3 of these personnel said that AusPost is not accountable for the condition any goods arrive in nor is it their responsibility to ensure an item arrives damage free. From here they stepped up their argument even more by stating that the person to blame for the damage was in fact the seller! As they "should have chosen something more suitable to post my item in". As the cardboard packaging which had gotten it around the world just fine was obviously not enough once AusPost got their hands on it.
The only thing I think that could have saved my item from being destroyed by AusPost would be a steel box, but even then I'm sure it would arrived covered in dents and delivered to the wrong...
Read moreNot all staff here are rude — I was served one morning by a man who was polite and helpful, and I appreciated his good service. Unfortunately, my next experience was very different. I was served by a woman with an incredibly bad attitude who was dismissive, unhelpful, and even burped several times while I was speaking to her. When I asked simple questions about opening and closing times, she just told me to “check my phone” instead of answering. Another staff member even had to step in and tell her that she shouldn’t speak to customers like that.
I’m not a confrontational person, but the lack of professionalism and respect in this interaction was disgraceful. The contrast between staff members shows that good service is possible here, but unfortunately...

Went here to submit a routine application for something, unfortunately for me, the rude person behind the counter, clearly on a power trip, wouldn’t accept my documents! I was told I’d need to go away to print something extra (which was visible on my phone but not even required) to provide even more ID evidence, even though what I provided had more than specified on the document! I went to another Post Office where it was accepted without a comment! Will not be returning here, its disappointing that even after so many poor reviews with the same comments on customer service that no action has been taken. Thanks for wasting 30...
