Brisket's — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

This used to be my regular place but since the outlet at Pacific Fair opened, I felt like the brand neglected the Robina outlet. The brisket was drier than it used to be. We were also overcharged for the mac and cheese. The menu said $5 for a large side but I was charged $6 for it when I saw my receipt. What was upsetting was that I even confirmed with the cashier BEFORE I ordered that a large mac & cheese was going to be $5. When confronted with the difference in the stated price on the menu and the price on my receipt, the workers just shrugged it off as “the menu is wrong” and compensated me with a bottle of Coke instead of honouring the price on the menu. It made me think how many people have been over-charged when adding a side. Is the business just banking on people not noticing the extra $1 that they were charged when adding a large mac & cheese? I know it’s just $1 but this situation left a sour feeling in me as I left because it felt like the business was not being honest with their prices and did not honour the price difference when confronted with it. BRISKETS is going to be HUGE!

I rarely bother going into the food court at the Robina mall - I've seen it all before.

Yesterday, however, I decided to venture into the food court to see if there'd been a change.

I was pleased to see a new addition... BRISKETS.

I was curious, and so I enquired with the delightful lady at the counter to learn more about BRISKETS.

I came to understand that they'd only been there for the past couple of months and that they're the first store of their kind in this neighbourhood.

After talking me through the menu, I decided to go with the Beef Brisket dish, which included rice, pickle, and coleslaw - I decided to also order the waffle fries.

All I can say is.... YUM!

It was delicious, it was filling, it was reasonably healthy, and it was reasonably priced.

Once I finished my meal, I returned to the counter and informed the lovery lady that from now on BRISKETS is the only place I am going to be eating at when I visit Robina Town Centre food court.
