Beware: They don't serve food but fire fuel to erupt a volcano in your body. Make sure you are well prepared with acidity regulators and heart burn medications. We went there last night and specifically mentioned that the curries should be kids friendly and not Extremely spicy, we are used to only moderate spicy foods. The staff did assure us it is not Indian spicy and kids would absolutely be able to eat it. When they served the food, it burnt everything inside our body including lips. A simple peas pulav was made with adding green chillies. Where else would you find a peas pulao with crushed green chilli? It was not even eatable by us. When it was mentioned it to them they just added cream to one of the curries and no options were given to fix other two chilli hot curry. The staff who took our order was unable to understand simple English and struggling to understand our questions and giving inappropriate answers atall times. When I ordered cheese naan she recommended butter roti which was again far below then expected and way too strechy to eat. When asked about the sliced onions she confused herself with green salad. Wonder why and how !!! When explained all this to manager she said that's how medium spicy food is. I had to respond rudely to her that we are frequent traveller and eat outside food on regular basis. We know very well what medium spicy food is defined as. After treating us rudely and burning our bodies, the generous people offered a 7 $ discount in our meal. My 4 year old kids and my 67 year old mother couldn't sleep the entire night after eating such spicy food. Sadly, instead of apologizing and accepting their fault we were rudely told that this is how medium spicy foods are. As if that was our first outside meal ever. We "WOULD NOT" recommend this restaurant atall to anyone. Unless you decide to take your enemies for some revenge. One star only for giving...
ย ย ย Read moreI had an unforgettable dining experience at this marvelous Indian restaurant called Delhi Darbar! The curries, particularly the butter chicken, Dal makhani, and Kadai paneer, were simply divine. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with the perfect blend of spices. The Dal makhani was velvety and comforting, bursting with flavors. And the Kadai paneer was a delightful explosion of taste, tender paneer cooked to perfection with vibrant bell peppers and spices. Each dish was a true masterpiece, leaving me wanting more with every bite. The ambiance was charming, and the service was top-notch. I can't wait to return for another mouthwatering journey through their delectable menu! The warm and welcoming nature of the owners truly made my dining experience at this Indian restaurant exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality. The owners took the time to chat with me, sharing stories about the origin of the dishes and their passion for Indian cuisine. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it made me feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring my needs were met and providing helpful recommendations to enhance my meal. This personal touch created a sense of belonging, making me feel like I was dining at a friend's home rather than a restaurant. Their hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to the already outstanding food, creating an experience I'll cherish and look forward to reliving. Such dedicated and gracious owners truly elevate this restaurant to a class of its own! Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts...
