Waves Buffet Restaurant — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

OMG one of the best buffets we’ve been to! I write this review after just coming back from there sitting on our hotel couch from being so full. 😆 First of thanks to Matt who took the call for the last minute booking. It was a Sunday night and they were booked out!

Great range of seafood on offer - king crab, sand crab, king prawns, oysters, green lip mussels with numerous sauces to go with; quality meats - slow cook lamb shoulder, roast pork, roast beef, etc; decent selection of salads, soup, pasta, pizza; and best of all was dessert which had a wide array of goodies - some we tried were the vanilla brulee, salted caramel popcorn macaron, tiramisu and red velvet gateaux. There was also a chocolate fountain and fruits which we had no more space for lol. And I almost forgot to eat it but the honey truffle chicken was sooooo good!!! Such good value for money with the current winter warmer special which includes a bottle of wine!! 👏🏽 Service was also good- dishes were always taken promptly when finished and there was always someone around when needed. One of the ladies Nicola had a chat to us and she was so lovely trying to chat to our little girl.

So glad we ate here for our last dinner of our GC...

We had the breakfast buffet with so many to choose from. Different breads from white to multigrain to wholemeal. They have healthy options such as chia pudding, yoghurts, fruits.,salads, cheese etc! They have poached, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, take your pick! Then juice, coffee, tea -- even green tea bags! Our breakfast during our holiday were sorted and worth every penny at Wavez Buffet

Dinner - Seafood Buffet was gorgeous! They oysters were very fresh! My dad was impressed as well! It wasnt a very busy night so i think he ate the majority of the oysters served! Anyhow the seafood buffet also has grilled pork, sirloin, noodles, and cold noodles, salad and go crazy with the cheese platter! other seafoods include king prawn, shrimp, mussels and baby octopus -- atleast the ones that i remember!

the service is more than just 5stars! We were served kindly and promptly! Tina and the gentleman who was in charge looking after the tables did a fantastic job look after us. Tina is super friendly and wonderful! An asset to Waves Buffet!

Waves Buffet Restaurant is definitely a place to go. Last night I experienced an amazing time at this restaurant. Waves buffet is located in Voco hotel, the area itself is okay. But it is quite hard to find parking if you are not a guest of VOCO hotel. However it is still a good location for buffet

Firstly the service was splendid , the workers were very helpful and kind. They checked up on us and hoped we would have a good dinner. Which was very nice. Very welcoming and lively atmosphere , the price is a little more on the expensive side but it’s okay.

The food was really good but the selection is a little smaller yhen other buffets. All there dishes including hot/seafood tasted fresh and well seasoned. The beef especially tasted tasted really good. But the variety of desserts was quite nice, they had ice cream and chocolate fountain with strawberries, lots of different cakes and bite size desserts.
