Greek on Soul — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Absolutely the worst customer service in restaurant around Surfers Paradise area. We literally came when place was empty, ordered our food, after us maybe another 5 tables came. All of them got their food besides us, than we asked skinny girl that was serving us where is our food, she completely ignored us, without any sort of explanation or excuse, to be worse - she went to other girl and obviously said something about us and started laughing. After couple of minutes we asked 3rd girl about our food, she looked confused, went inside and finally brought our food, this was 1 hour after ordering. Excuse was complete lie! Apparently lamb needed more time, funny thing is those other people that came after us also ordered meals with lamb and they got their food immediately, we even spoke to other 2 tables around us and they confirmed they had same item ordered, gyros for 2 with lamb! We would not mind if they came and just apologised for making this mistake but lying after that 1st skinny girls reaction was just too much. And another thing, our drinks came just after ordering, we had 4 drinks, only 3 came, we had to remind them about that as well, plus kids did not get their free poppers like menu said. On the other hand, food was really good, meat was cooked to perfection, I gave 4 stars only because of chips, it looked like fresh chips was mixed with some old chips. But overall 1 star only because of terrible...

So a today i go with a my friend to this a place. It take a 10 ten times for the waitress to understand “Double Vodka and a Coke a Zero. I finally get a my drink and it’s not a double I think eh $20 it’s a ok im just really a hungry. We order a the $60 platter. We wait. We wait. We a wait a very a long time. Everybody we a watch get their meals , we watch them finish their platters while a we still wait. The waitresses one who took the a good order come out clear tables , deliver drinks some a how obvious we are not getting the a food we order. We a watch the chef go for break. No food. Second a cook goes on break no food. We wait even a longer we are a patient people. Some of the customers who order after us start go up and a start a complaining. My a friend goes up and asks where our food is. They say a Sorry their printer a broke (lie ran out of a paper!) and they will cook our entire platter in a ONE MINUTE! We don’t a pay $60 for you to give us a reheated meal in one minute or you just a lie! Lamb and a chicken need at least a fifteen minutes! Chips alone need 3-4 minutes !! We ask for our money back. Don’t a ever go to this a place. Worst restaurant experience I HAVE EVER HAD! Train your staff don’t blame technology. And at very least offer a free drink when you rip us off and never deliver the...

Lovely lunch with my daughter, reminiscing about my years living in Naxos and Simi in the Greek Isles. Enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant with the grandmother who has since passed. It's open 7 days from 11am to 10pm. The girl serving us was just lovely and happy for me to take a photo behind the authentic bar, although another customer watched us and then asked for the same 😬 They offer gift vouchers too, which would be a nice Xmas or Raffle Gift, something unique. Only thing missing was some Greek dancing, I did offer 😄 🍽🍽 We shared a lamb kebab, some dips and chips with 2 drinks and was under $50. Recommend to families or couples. Have the lamb kebab, it is a generous size, delicious, and you get to enjoy it all with an ocean view. We sat outside next to the heaters but plenty of room inside also.
