Very different drink experience from the Toowoong, Sunnybank, and Brisbane city heereeteas. The use of syrup to cut costs on the fruit teas changes the taste completely. The watermelon cheese drink had melon syrup, which tastes nothing like watermelon. You couldn't taste the tea undertones, and it was a very poor drink.

Edit REPLY: It's not subjective because I literally saw the syrups added to the drink. Perhaps the wrong syrup was used accidentally and that led to the bad taste. Also, I do know the flavour difference between off-season and on-season watermelon- and it is vastly different from the taste of syrup MELON (not watermelon syrup). I have also had the off-season watermelon drink at the other stores and they are very different. The supplier of ingredients may be the same across franchises but the service and skill in creating the drink appears to be different, especially here at Southport. 26/04 - Came here for a few drinks, ordered at 5pm, a peach mojito, it was not busy at all, there were maybe 3-4 other tables occupied, that had already ordered It took over 30 MINUTES for them to make my drink, my friend ordered right before me and he got his 10mins before mine, but still had to wait 20mins for his, there was no one even at bar half the time?? I kept looking over at the bar and the guy finally saw me looking frustrated, walked past me and said my drink wouldn't be long (had already been 25mins at this point) then disappeared out the back for 10mins, and when I finally got my drink about 37mins later, it was not even what I ordered, instead of a peach mojito I got some sort of lemon drink with bits of mint and 3/4 full of ice, literally took me 2mins to finish, that's how little liquid was in the glass.
