Sushi Break Helensvale — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

So disappointed have been coming here for years. Ordered two platters last night: one vegetarian and one mixed chicken/seafood. Have ordered these before with a good mix of fillings. Last night the seafood platter contained only 3 small pieces salmon/avo and 3 smaller pieces of salmon. The vegetarian platter was largely carrot & cucumber, or avocado, no tempura veg at all. Was charged $120 for both! The platters used to be a better mix of options and were cheaper, I don’t think inflation is enough to explain the decrease in quality of ingredients and increased price. Not to mention the last few times we’ve been there, the staff seem to be harried and annoyed by having to provide service, which we would over look because they usually accommodated large orders for us. This used to be our favourite sushi shop which we would drive 25 minutes to get to, but between the increasingly unfriendly service and increasing prices, I don’t think...

OPINION OF FOOD Chicken Terriaki was tasty Chicken curry had small pieces of chicken lots of rice and decent serving of sauce. Sushi is displayed as 2 x rolls to a packet $3.50/$4.00. To my mind, I thought the 2 were $3.50 by the packaging.

I had an excellent experience at Sushi Break in Helensvale! The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of sushi options that are incredibly fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is clean and tidy, creating a welcoming environment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy sushi; it's definitely somewhere you want to linger. Kudos to Sushi Break for maintaining such high standards! 5 stars...
