Absolutely awful experience. I found the staff to be quite rude and almost couldn't be bothered to come and take our takeaway order at the counter when we walked in (with all but one table occupied mind you).
As I go through the menu and make my order with him, he is surprised at the number of items off the menu I am ordering and makes it out to be what huge portions I am to expect as he tells me "that's a lot of food!" with a surprised look on his face.
I was asked to wait 20 minutes (which is quite a bit for takeaway) but it took 33 minutes of standing around before the meals came out.
Naturally, after the way these meals were made out to sound rather huge portions for most to be able to handle, it makes me even more disappointed to discover, at first, they may have mistakenly given us something from the kid's menu, only to realise... that's it.
Maybe the enchiladas are served in a dish that do them a dis-service, with a tiny bit of rice and fillings in the bottom of this takeaway dish.
The most strange looking, driest and again small portion of what they call their "nachos"!
Their quesedilla was also very odd as quesedillas are my favourite if and when I can find them and this was like no other I have ever seen or tried.
Overall, the taste was okay, little bit soggy but that is most likely due to the takeaway and somewhat expected. The small portions compared to the overpriced menu didn't go down well at all.
I'm lucky this was takeaway though because I can't imagine I would have received any decent service from their staff had it been a sit down meal.

Read moreWould be a lovely place to eat, IF you didn’t have kids. Which is extremely disappointing as this is a restaurant that shows up high on the list of family friendly places. Not sure how they got that rating. Staff from the get go seemed unimpressed to see two small children with us. We sat down and immediately ordered the kids meals. Any parent would know that kids need to eat pretty quickly. And most restaurants understand that as well. Assuming the kids meals would come soon, we placed our own adult meals 20mins after.... only for our adult meals to then come 20 mins later.... with no sight of the kids meals. By now the kids are hungry. Crying. We are met with dirty looks from the staff. I then approach the staff regarding the kids meals. Not a sincere apology or any sort of emotion was given. Just a quick I reply of “oh the order machine stuffed up”. Needless to say the kids are still hungry and waiting. I think there needs to be a real look at your staff and the way they treat families. No apology. Not made to feel like anyone really cared that we tried to get the kids to the restaurant early to avoid them crying. It so happens they kicked off because they were made to wait. It’s hard being a parent. Your staff definitely didn’t care for anyone this...
Read moreA couple of weeks ago we dined in. We ordered nachos, dip, 3x chicken enchiladas and a kids chicken taco. In the middle of the night my 4 year old daughter started vomiting, vomited all night and was still going all morning. The chicken enchiladas all came out scorching hot while the kids taco came with precooked cool chicken pieces which is obviously the reason she was the only one with food poisoning. We were celebrating my sons 11th birthday, we travelled a long way to your restaurant because it used to be an old fave when we lived closer. We waited an hour and a half for our food because you were very busy but that timeframe is ridiculous, my $21 midori splice tasted like it had zero alcohol in it and spent over $140 only to have my 4 year old vomiting violently and couldnt keep any fluids down until the following day. It was an extremely disappointing experience from a restaurant we used to regular years ago. I sent two emails to head office because Labrador doesn’t have an email address asking them to forward on my complaint and no one ever replied. IN RESPONSE: All 3 of my kids ate the same thing on that Saturday and only one got sick that night. The one that ate the cool chicken taco. You don’t get food poisioning from Weetbix and...
