Wow. Worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had. We ordered 4 coffees and two meals. The staff member at the register red the order back to us and it was right. She even said, ‘one skinny iced late and one hot late’ The three coffees arrived and the fourth one didn’t. We asked for it and she made it for us quickly and apologised. Then, about 30 mins had passed and we still didn’t have our food. A smashed avocado and an Italian sandwich. Another staff member said they only have one chef and apologised for the wait. My husbands smashed avocado was brought to our table without cutlery. Mine was still being made. She then brought out a BLT and I said that’s not what I ordered. She apologised took it back and said mine will get made asap. In the mean time many other people were getting their meals. By now it was about 45 minutes since we made the order and she still said it won’t be too long. At which point I told her it’s ridiculous and I want a refund. As she was organising the refund, the chef said something to her, which she replied. ‘That’s okay, we don’t need it anymore.’ She said she understands my frustration and she explained why the other food was coming out before mine, but I didn’t quite understand it as mine didn’t need cooking, it was just a sandwich with ready made ingredients. Needless to say, customer service is rubbish, food was in the words of my husband ‘just a meal’ and coffee was good! Not enough to have me back and deal with the customer service. Someone needs to educate those Gen Zs out the front. I feel for the chef! Made two meals that weren’t needed in the end. Waste of time, money, energy...
Read moreJust popped into No Name Lane Espresso in Broadbeach and I've got to tell you about the soy flat white and B.L.A.T. focaccia I had – nothing short of phenomenal!
The flat white was a smooth operator; rich, creamy, and with that perfect soy complement that didn't overpower the coffee's natural kick. It's like they've got a secret handshake with the beans that says, "Let's make magic together."
And the focaccia, OMFG! It was like biting into a piece of culinary art. The balance of flavors, the bacon crunch, and the softness, all in one bite – it's the sort of nosh that makes you close your eyes and just appreciate the moment.
If you're cruising around Broadbeach, do yourself a solid and swing by No Name Lane Espresso. It's more than a coffee shop; it's an experience that your taste buds will...
Read moreCoffee is very good but service is poor. Served by a girl at the cashier who needed to told by the coffee brewer to serve me. She was not welcoming. After ordering, I sat down and was served my coffee and snack both of which were were good quality. I asked the waitress for a jug of water and she said I can get it myself, so I had to leave my table with my food and drink on it, pack up my bag and go to the water station. There were no clean glasses so I had to ask for clean glasses from the staff behind the counter. They must close at 12 noon I guess because as I write this at 11.46am, a staff member is noisily stacking chairs around me with no the consideration to the peace I and other patrons were enjoying. Take away...
