The service was great and the atmosphere and interior is really nice. The seats are very comfortable. Drinks are good but wouldn’t go back for one specific cocktail because it was life changing. As someone that gets overstimulated the music wasn’t super loud there was just enough for ambience.
The only negative and let down is how small and limited the menu is. It basically consists of every pub staple that you can find anywhere. There is not one specific dish you would try and say I would come back here for this because it was good or delicious. I would come back if they had more unique dishes or more of a variety. E.g buratta, king fish tartare, puffed spiced bread or a dip in entrees and more pastas/ variety’s in mains.
We ordered the charcuterie board - which needs more crackers, swap out the basic cheddar cheese for something with flavour and maybe more dip.
The seafood tower- which didn’t look like a lot of food and probably wouldn’t have been if we didn’t order the board first but was actually quite filling.the battered fish was a nice thick cut not thin which I appreciate but the salad needed a dressing.
The oysters were really delicious and fresh though.
Overall can say I wouldn’t go back unless they updated and...

The menu offered a generous variety of beautifully cooked meats – on this visit, Beef, Lamb, and Chicken were on offer. We opted for the Lamb and Beef, both of which were cooked to perfection.
The roast came with an impressive spread of seasonal vegetables, including honey-glazed beans and broccolini, roasted cauliflower, pumpkin, parsnip, silky mashed potato, and crispy roast potatoes. It was all brought together with a fluffy Yorkshire pudding and two dinner rolls. Each meat was paired with its traditional accompaniment – mint sauce and gravy for the lamb, and horseradish and gravy for the beef.
The chef personally came out to check in, which was a thoughtful touch, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
A hearty, flavour-packed experience we’d happily recommend to anyone....

The gin-based cocktails were fresh and vibrant (the sunrise was a standout), and the king prawns to start were perfectly cooked, with a hint of citrus and spice. But the surprise favourite? The maple butter served with warm bread. Slightly sweet, rich, and totally unexpected.
For mains, I went with the spatchcock — something new for me — and was pleasantly surprised by how generous and flavoursome it was. With five cocktails down and no shortage of food, it felt like incredible value.
If they expanded the main options, I’d be back every weekend. Beautifully executed, well-priced, and such a great way to spend a Gold Coast afternoon.
Our main waiter (blonde guy - think he was the maître d) was very attentive and friendly. The brunette with the pony didn’t smile the whole time I was there and came across quite short and seemed unhappy...
