2 registers 2 staff no acknowledgement whilst in line. 1 serving taking orders and the other printing out dockets and stabbing to pin. No eye contact, friendly gesture to say sorry folks won't be a minute etc. We took our seat and number and couldn't sit at back part due to staff sitting there on break. Ordered an OMG but after taking our seats a friendly and polite staff member came over to advise they were out of bacon. With the kitchen 2 metres from the register where orders are taken, I would expect this to be communicated easily. She offered to fry up some ham, my partner agreed. My schnitz 15.90 was tiny and had a cut in it to check if cooked I can only assume.. with the small size and thinness of the chicken (I guess 15.90 worth or at least half with the nice chips they had) a chef or small order cook at the least wouldn't need to do this.. leaves presentation poor. Food being prepared left on make bench far too long waiting for chips and chicken to cook. Multiple people taking their orders back. Sorry but not good enough. 2 stars but mainly for the battered chips. Hopefully a better experience for...
Read moreDrove 30 min to eat here, they got my wife's order wrong twice, the second time she was very disappointed but was too hungry to take it back and ate it anyway, she was very dissatisfied with the meal. I had already finished my food by that time. Went back and spoke to the manager, I asked to have my wife's meal refunded and the manager argued with me that my wife got what she ordered and they didn't make a mistake. She finally offered to refund the smallest amount she could (less than the cost of my wife's burger), I explained that I was asking for a refund not for one item because it was wrong, I was asking for a refund because we came to Schmitz for an eating experience (like we've had before) and we were poorly let down. The refund was an opportunity to show that they cared about people have a good customer experience. The manager here obviously doesn't care if customers have a good experience or not....
Read moreMy recent visit to the Robina restaurant left me and my son extremely dissatisfied with our order of the âchicken schnitzel stick.â The reality of what we received was a far cry from the appealing expectation set by the menu description and pictures.
the marketing of this dish needs serious reconsideration. The menu description did not accurately depict what we received, leading to a clear âexpectation vs. realityâ situation.
I must say that the overall experience was far from what I anticipated, and I sincerely hope that the restaurant takes this feedback constructively. Itâs essential to ensure that the dishes presented to customers are not only appealing but also live up to their descriptions.
I believe that with some improvements in presentation, taste, and marketing. I would love to see these changes and have the opportunity to enjoy a truly satisfying dining experience...
