Terrible Customer Service - Publicly verbally abused by Sara/Zara - General Manager.

We attended for lunch and spent over $35 (including paying the public holiday surcharge of 15%). We had a 1 week old and my wife bought 1 sushi roll (from another store) because she would have to feed shortly and it was something she could eat quickly.

Well after she had finished the sushi roll, a Sara/Zara with a general manager badge came over to our table and very loudly and publicly told us how unacceptable it was to have other food at the cafe.

My wife, who is the kindest soul in the world, sat there with our 1 week old being verbally abused like she was a child who has done something terribly wrong. What outrageous and unacceptable behaviour particularly when you consider it was a General Manager.

We appreciate their rule of no outside food. But Sara/Zara should have given consideration to the following:

We had spent a bit of money (for lunch) at Coffee Club anyway. We had a 1 week old that needs care usually without notice. Such a public and embarrassing display is not how a business in the customer service industry should deal with a situation such as this.

In a shopping centre with so many other cafes that have much better food and coffee than the processed stuff Coffee Club offers, this type of behaviour is something they cannot afford.

I hope the owner receives this and has a serious chat with Sara/Zara who is supposedly a general manager who should know how to properly deal with situations such as this. If this was my business she would be demoted and possibly suspended for this behaviour.

Very disappointed with the service at Robina Coffee Club today ! We ordered a club Nachos, a coke with a glass of ice and a cappuccino. The Nachos was cold !! Corn chips and salsa sauce is suppose to come out of the oven and sour cream etc added on top, serve to us it was cold it had obviously been sitting on the bench for more than five minutes before the waitresses even picked it up . Then the Cappuccino was given without a spoon and the coke without a straw ! When we asked them to reheat the corn chips they stuffed the whole bowl in the microwave and reheated sour cream as well ! Terrible terrible service from the coffee club at Robina today it’s like the workers really did not care about their jobs or certainly not trained in...

Was there on Sunday with my father enjoying the sun sitting against the glass overlooking the lake when suddenly and with no warning they dropped down the blinds blocking the view and cutting out the sun. I asked the duty manager why and she said one woman complained. I asked for them to be raised as we choose to sit there for the sun, she informed me she would have to get the other customers permission! She came back and said NO, I asked why the other customer had the authority to block everyone else's sun and she would not answer, she turned her back on me in mid conversation and walked off. Apparently I was no one. Obviously others complained later as they had to raise the blinds. Won't go...
