The worst Japanese food I have ever had on the Gold Coast. The atmosphere and the staff were okay, but it’s a restaurant, and we are talking about food. I was super hungry after work, so any food should be good and wouldn’t drive me so mad to write such a long comment. The yakitori tasted extremely bad, literally just "fake Japanese food". The meat quality is fine, but it was all overcooked. How bad does a chef have to be to make the chicken and beef super dry? And the sauce on the yakitori was just the soy sauce you can easily get from Woolies; you can only taste the saltiness. No kind of grill flavour which should be there for a yakitori. And the fried Udon just even worse. Have no idea where this high star comments coming from. It’s a really inauthentic...

Honestly enjoyed everything. The Yakitori was of course great (go the pork belly and wagyu) we were so Impressed by the agedashi tofu (so many places get that wrong and make the dashi too sweet) and most of all the Cream Korokke balls. We were pretty full at the end but still ordered 1 extra order of this, totally worth it. Finished off with mochi for dessert.
We will definitely be back and will bring the kids too.
Everything. So. Good.

Overall pretty good except the beef tongue and chicken were a bit too dry and there’s no sauce over it so taste was as original you can get. The pork belly yakitori was awesome and exceptionally good and highly recommended. Well cooked and flavours will spot on.
Beef udon is alright a tad sweet for my liking.
A bit on the pricy side compared to what you can get in Osaka Japan. The rental on Gold Coast could be the problem.
Overall very good quality food and will...
