The food is good and fresh. Good selection at a reasonable price.
But: due to Covid-19 restriction, the buffet cannot be self serve, and the food has to be ordered and staff will bring out to you. You can order as much as you like. clearly, the staff were overwhelmed for the size of the restaurant. It takes a long time for older to come out. This includes sauce! so most of the time, we spent staring at the empty grill pan than eating. we pretty much ordered as soon as the food comes out to minimize waiting time, but clearly that's not enough time. I can understand the staff were overwhelmed. But the food portion come out each time is tiny and small, meaning everyone has to order more frequently and increase the staff's workload. Each time you are allowed to order a maximum of 3 serves per item, and we have a party of 4. The "3 serves" is hardly 3 serves at all, even for 1 serve I would say it's small portion. Eg. Fir 3 serves of rib eye, we have a total of 5 pieces of meat. Each piece probably weighs 50g max. Do they expect each person to eat just 70g of meat? Also sauce need to be ordered as well. Again this increase the workload when they could've leave a bottle of sauces on each table.
My son is basically eating lettuce with sauce at the moment as I'm writing the review......
Addendum: After I post my review, maybe the manager saw it, one of the waitress came to our table immediately and asking how are we doing, whether we want any dessert or fruits. We said no, the table is empty with only lettuce and sauce, we are still waiting for our meat. She then asked us what we have ordered as they completely lost count. I told her and she immediately brought put the meat we ordered. The manager apologized for all the delays and offered 10% discount to our total bill. I therefore give them another star to 3 stars for trying to make it up. Maybe it was because its Xmas long weekend and they are busier than usual. I suggested about bringing up more food each time so their staff doesn't have to work as hard, but the manager told me it was not easy as sometimes many people don't know what they are ordering and left too much wastage. That's why they don't want to bring out too much at one time. Fair enough. But maybe there could be a note to encourage people that if they are not sure what the item is, please order just 1 serve and order more if you like it. This happened to us as well as my son ordered "fried potato" thinking that it was fries, but it wasn't and he didn't want it. Fortunately we only order 1 serve and we...
Read moreWe arrived and were seated and given a pricing schedule all good . Did notice the state of the floor tiles as we come in all cracked up but chose to look past . So prior to being able to get food you first pay . It is a self serve chiller style with sliding doors and also a seperate self serve with salads and rice and noodles etc. Got a plate of meats to cook up and a second plate from the second servery . Started cooking up and not long into it the gas bottle run out. This took about 10 mins to get a replacement can of butane . The food took around 20mins to cook as the plates just had no heat in them . It was around this stage I looked up and noticed the roof structure holding the shade sails covered in what could be either bird droppings or a build up of salt and dirt mixed with the fat from the hot plates . I looked around and noticed some of the shade sails are but a tarpaulin you would just buy at bunnings In appearance . Couldn't quite pin it but the beef had a taste as if it had been sweating and was past its date or even refrozen . Definitely did not go back for a second plate . Before leaving I used the toilets where I noticed a hole in the ceiling above the urinal , one of the cubicles was out of order and the door into the toilet was held open with what looked like a container of chemicals . The outer door from the restaurant area to the toilet was also kept open . So no doors between toilets and where your tables are at were closed . I thought after i had been to steak houses that were cheaper but offered more . The food here is definitely not worth what was being charged . Don't waste your money here . Won't be going back and after seeing another post where they offered a free soft drink for a Good review I felt...
Read moreI am giving the place a 1 star because I couldn’t give it a 0 (zero) star. Don’t spend your money there!
Really poor quality, worst buffet ever. The Food on the buffet is just plain LOUSY, Fatty and Yuck!! Chicken wings were so overcooked and tasted old. I wonder if there was any chef on site. I’ve never had Korean food look or taste like this. Normally it’s all very fresh and so tasty. Oh, not even the fruit on the buffet was fresh. Anyways if you decide to give the bbq ago just make sure to stay away from the seafood and fish. At the red meat section, only 2 types of meat were red and fresh, the rest was grey. So gross! I honestly, could go on.
The venue is pathetic! Very poor furniture and the atmosphere is just sad. No decorations or anything just a harassment sign saying that if you leave food behind you have to pay a fee. What in the hell? Unfortunately for us, it started to rain and it started to rain on us. Yeah, you read that right. The roof is not a roof but instead, it was just a marquee. They should have moved us to another table but they rather choose to just keep dragging our table around. By the way, the place was significant empty and they could just offer us to sit at another table. We suggest it to the waitress but she said it should be fine. Just bad customer service and no common sense. Oh let me not forget to mention that with the rain a smell of grey water came up. I felt so bad and ashamed cause I invited my friends to go to this restaurant and for sure it was a very bad idea. No wonder why the place was so empty. I’ve should know it better. So disappointing. Let's be fair the Coca Cola I ordered was good! But I have to drink it from the can no glassware or even a straw was brought to the table....
