The Fish Tank - Southport Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

My friend took me to the fish tank for a meal, she said we're going to have a cheese burger I said ok. I loved the place, hygienically clean (keep it up), the colours and atmosphere was 👍great. Wasn't expecting to be so appetising, when we got our Burger's it looked so good and as soon as I started eating the flavour took me back to my childhood. Couple of days later I went back with my younger daughter to have fish and chips, I order Grilled Barramundi meal, I really don't like fish with sauce on it but this was so delicious 😋 also shouldn't forget the chips was so crunchy delicious 😋 I would recommend it to everyone who will go to Gold Coast to visit Fish Tank🧿 Also would like to thank the owners for their hospitality and been so friendly also service with a smile 😊❤️ I'm sorry don't have any photos 😔coz it looked so yummy 😋 I digged right into it... I even said to my daughter I should've taken a photo 😔 when I go back to the coast with my older daughter, I will take her and her hubby their, that is once her doctors give clearance for her to travel... Keep it up kids I wish you success and plenty of good...

Absolutely delightful service and food! We were just passing by this area as we needed to pump petrol. Had cravings for fish and chips and this restaurant pops up on my Google search. When we got there it was already crowded and we managed to get a seat, luckily. Ordering and paying was a breeze by the QR code on the table, fuss free experience.

You will be greeted by rows of fresh seafood on display. When the food was served, everything was splendid. I really couldn't applaud more on the freshness of the ingredients. The fried food were also delightful.

We ordered the deluxe platter for 2 AUD90 and there were 3 of us. It was super filling!

Awesome work and kudos to the team for bringing about such great food to us. I was on the verge of tears as I felt that they did the ingredients justice by cooking everything just right.

Do give this restaurant a go when you are...

Wow….. I didn’t read any reviews and just came down on a last minute decision as I have past it many times. And it really deserves its high star count. Walking in being greeted by friendly staff member I knew this was going be a pleasant experience.

Being offered water at a fish and chips is a first for me and after a walk in the hot sun was greatly appreciated. The menu had plenty on offer with a lot of combos and burger options.

We both chose ‘going solo’ as it was a fish and chips with calamari, Lemon and tartare. When it came out it looked amazing as seen in picture. But the taste was even better. Best fish and chips I have had in a long time. And the calamari was just as delicious. Yummy chips. The fish and calamari just tasted fresh and perfectly battered.

I will be back. And will be telling all friends and family to give this place a try for best...
