WavyBone Coffee — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Don't know what to think about this place.

Have heard great things, so I literally went out of my way minutes before returning my rental car to check it out. The staff upon presentation are super friendly and welcoming. But when I ordered a filter coffee, and they ran out of batch brew, instead of just telling me and asking if I'd like to wait or order something else, they squeezed a few pumps out and then filled the rest with hot water hiding behind the espresso machine and tried to pass it off as something worthwhile. Oh, they also did all this after I purchased one of their trucker hats and they thanked me for supporting their business.

Trying to rip me off was a curious way of trying to thank me.

When I brought the coffee back and told them I didn't want it, they were kind enough (caught out and forced to) make me a new coffee, but I'm now tempted to give the hat away. Don't really like the idea of supporting dishonest businesses.

Love everything about this place! Having dairy allergies makes it hard to find good cappuccinos and Wavybone has, in my opinion, the BEST almond cappuccino on the Gold Coast and I’ve tried the best of the best. I always go to a coffee shop fearing if they are going to be as good as lastime or of they are going burn something lol but I have had here more than one and now I write my review.
