• Beef brisket and soft tofu soup 🍜 🤤~ honestly a must-have each time I go to a Korean restaurant. they bring it out boiling hot so you can enjoy the best tastes. the hotpot is nice and spicy too and the flavours work so nicely with the beef and soft tofu 🤗. pair this well with a small bowl of rice and your mouth will be frothing. • Mentaiko self-made rice ball 😆🎉 ~ oooop such a cute and fun thing to do. they will bring all the ingredients in a bowl. you will need to pop a glove on and then mix and mix and mix! once thoroughly mixed, roll into small balls to enjoy! whole mouthfuls are the way to go and the kewpie really ties the knot. • Rose tteokbokki 🌹🌶 😎~ ahhh definitely a hidden gem that I finally discovered when I came to @annyeong_southport. super creamy and full of rice cakes, their rose tteokbokki did not disappoint 🤤.

Read moreExtremely disappointed by the male staff working tonight… We made a booking yesterday night for a group of family coming from overseas, and we were so excited about this dinning experience because we had been loyal customers. HOWEVER, we had been told to wait for 15mins when we arrived at 1815, which we were fine about this. BUT then the time had been pushed back 15 mins more…Clearly the tables inside the restaurant could be managed better before hand. Even though the explanation was ‘customer came in at 1730 couldn’t finish before 1815’, it’s unacceptable to argue with customer, which also had made the booking prior the service began. While we were waiting outside the restaurant, few walk-in customers got tables straightforward. There was no apology to this situation by this staff, and we were extremely upset towards his attitude and solutions to solve the problem. Hope the management team can review on customer service delivery from each staff, particularly in understanding the importance of treating customers right. The staff came up apologising for this at the end…then we’ll see next time...
Read moreBibimbap (Beef/Vegetable) ($21): It’s served with 4 sides and a chilli sauce. I love how the sunny side egg goes so well with the rice and the minced beef. Adding some spicy chilli sauce creates an ultimate taste which is superb.
Boneless Fried Chicken (S) ($9.9): You can choose one of the four sauces and I go for Spicy Chilli. The chicken tastes crispy, delicious and sweet with the sauce but not the best to be brutally honest. Despite all of that, I still recommend this dish.
Moreover, soft drinks, Lipton (lemon or peach), and Korean canned drinks cost $3.5, $5, and $4, respectively.
The restaurant is inside the Southport Central Shopping Centre, on which two tall buildings are situated and next to Australia Fair Metro.
To top it off, great service and speed, authentic dishes, and reasonable prices. I like the name of the restaurant, which is an informal way of greeting, means “hi” and sometimes also “bye” in Korean. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!
