A very poor experience. It would've been fine if it was half the price. I paid $26 for a cappuccino and fried eggs on toast. The coffee tasted like it came from an instant machine, minimal cocoa powder (i.e. not a cappucino), etc. The eggs were dry, overdone, and bland. There are other cafes nearby, surely one has better stuff on the menu.

We visited here on a public holiday & it was busy. Coffee was good, nicely presented & flavoursome. We had double shots, so good strength. Pleasant staff. Return visit 2024 February..coffee was overpriced & burnt. Flat white had a huge amount of foam, so reducing my star rating from 4 to 2!

Wonderful, smooth coffee. Food menu is limited but quality is focused over quantity. Cosy indoor setting with ample seating. Outdoor seating is available but during times of heavy traffic it can get a little noisy. Staff are friendly and service fast.

My wife and I are here on a short stay from Perth. We saw this place whilst heading to meet the Hop on Hop off Tour bus of Hobart. We still had a bit of time before the bus arrived, so thought we'd pop in for a coffee and some breakfast as it was close by. The coffee was nice and my wife was impressed that they used the Milk Lab almond milk which is her favourite. The breakfast options were limited if you're trying to avoid Carbs which is what we were doing, but they were happy to cook us eggs and bacon without the bread, although when it came out the eggs were on sour dough ??? !!. As we were unsure as to the exact location of the pick up point of the bus, I asked the 2 gentlemen behind the counter where Sandy Bay Village was, the older male said abrubtly "this is Sandy Bay Village" as if we should've known and turned away ! The other male with the beard could see the look of surprise on our faces and quickly responded in a more helpful tone asking what I was specifically looking for. I explained that we were unsure of the location as to where the tourist bus pickup point was, he was unable to help, but at least he was friendly and attempted to help. Not a good start to the day. My wife enjoyed the...

I had the worst experience ever here. I only ordered a Cappuccino at this place and the guy how worked there took my order and I seated myself. I went to toilet and after that I waited 20 minutes without getting my coffee. During this time I just waited, others customers who entered this place got there order before mine. And by the way it was not crowded at all. After the guy served the other customers first he talked to me that I will get my coffee soon, then he chatted with his college and I waited again. After half an hour without getting a coffee I walked out and was so disappointed that I swore myself not to go ever back to this unfriendly and not customer friendly place. So I went to Sash Coffee and experienced a nice warm an super friendly environment. I wish I could give zero stars for the worst experience ever in a...

Service was terrible, the guy working there had no idea and considering he is there all the time he should be able to handle 5 orders by himself. Coffee was okay, but with so many options in sandy bay okay isn't good enough. He got my food order wrong and didn't apologise and he didn't know how to work the eftpos machine correctly, so a 5 minute take away coffee order turned...
