Hobart Linear Park — Attraction in Hobart

This is one of Hobart's hidden gems. Meticulously planned and maintained by Hobart City Council this linear park, which starts at one of my favorite Hobart cafe's, Hamlets on Molle St, runs all the way up to the Cascade Brewery. You get to walk up the steady incline with the Hobart Rivulet on your left-hand side, with a view of Mt Wellington constantly encouraging you on. During winter a snow capped Wellington is a backdrop that is breathtaking. If your really lucky you might catch site of the resident platypus that live in the Rivulet.
