Zambrero Sandy Bay — Restaurant in Hobart

Just had an exceptionally excellent meal with the family this evening at Zambrero in Sandy Bay. Went there on the recommendation of a workmate & we are very pleased we did! The staff were very helpful, restaurant very clean & the food was top notch. Also, they are donating to help feed third world countries, which goes without saying how good that is. So, if you like Mexican and a large range of options, as well as a very well priced kid's menu - then don't hesitate in spoiling yourself here. It is easy to see why they are so highly rated, just have a read through other google reviews as proof. Plus they are open very long hours & 7 days. We are looking forward to going back soon, just need to remember to wear a Mexican hat...

I had a great experience at Zambrero Sandy Bay today. My partner and I went there for burritos this evening for dinner which we have done on many occasions, this time however was the best experience I have had in one of the franchise stores. Not only was she kind and funny with a good sense of humour adapting to my partner and I on our level making us feel very comfortable but she actually made the best burrito ever. We had joked about burritos needed a crash course on how to eat without making a big mess. This however was not even necessary we came to realise after the burritos were rolled so well there was no dripping or spillage. Thanks Jasmine for the best...

I love Zambrero. I went to this shop yesterday just before 2pm. The staff were very nice. However, they never take their gloves off.

They touch everywhere with the gloves on, make food, open the fridge, take drinks out, process payment, close the kitchen door, and then next burrito, and repeat….. I was very worried about food safety. Also the aluminium foil of my burrito was super greasy.
