Red Rooster Riverlink — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Don't waste your time ordering here, wait times have gone downhill especially the last few months. Only ever 2 staff working and has been a minimum 15min wait everytime.

Taking the time to write a review this time after the so called manager (lady with dyed red hair) loudly berated an Uber Eats driver in front of gobsmacked customers (who had also been waiting a long time).

I was waiting to order & walked off and wont be going back! The guy had a valid point about how much longer he was having to wait as apparently he was told 20mins then came back to be told another 8mins or so.

At no point was he ever rude to the girl on the counter & for the manager to walk out from the kitchen and yell at him the way she did was disgusting!!

Owner needs to do a staff clean out asap to lift things! Keep the short happy guy that works there though, he has awesome...

We ordered the $5.50 snack sub box and waited over 10 minutes to get our order, for 3 small meals, the staff unfortunately are extremely slow and make no effort at giving good customer service. We went to go and eat and when we opened the “mashed potatoes and gravy” we realized it was only gravy, there was no mashed potatoes. So I went back and asked why there was no potatoes with the gravy, she said that they had run out. So my question is if she knew full well that there were no mashed potatoes left than why not let us know and offer a different option or let us know that we could wait longer to actually get some mashed potatoes with our gravy. I get it, it’s fast food and something dirt cheap but the staff could have some integrity...

I had a fantastic experience at the Ipswich Riverlink Red Rooster today all because of the effort and professionalism of Katrina. When Red Rooster removed their Chicken, Cheese, Bacon burger from the menu, I had hoped I would be able to recreate it some time in the future. Time and time again, I would ask Red Rooster staff at other locations if we could recreate it and I would get a flat ‘no we don’t do that’. However today, when I came to the Riverlink Red Rooster Katrina made such an effort and with already fantastic knowledge of the current menu was able to make two simple changes to an already existing burger, to make my beloved CAB.
