We spent a week in Launceston. We visited Blue Inc on 3 occasions and the restaraunt was not busy on any of these times. 1st visit to Blue Inc we sat on the deck got great service by 1 waitress and enjoyed the lunch. I had salmon which was lovely. 2nd visit we gave breakfast a go. We do not recommend breakfast from Blue Inc, we had a bought breakfast every morning and this was our worst meal. I had eggs Benedict, nice hollandaise - eggs not cooked properly with the white still runny. My partner ordered fried eggs on toast with bacon. Again eggs not cooked properly with both the yolk and egg white runny. Bacon was an extra charge but not provided but was ordered with the waitress including it when she repeated the order. A wild bird flew into the windows inside and was obviously stunned, a waitress used a cloth to pick it up and then walked around with it sitting on her bare hand. No hygiene barrier. She then left a wild bird outside (wild birds don't sit on hands unless injured), hopefully the bird didn't become a meal. 3rd visit was Friday and we returned for lunch with the view they did tmlunch well earlier in the week. Again not busy with plenty of empty tables. We had to wait while 2 of the staff were chatting before one came to seat us. At 1.30pm we ordered a lamb wrap and bowl of chips to share. We had a function at 3pm and had assumed this would be plenty of time for lunch followed by coffee and cake. At 2.20pm my partner went and asked about our food - response "haven't you had it yet". Note we would not have asked if we had eaten. They didn't know what happened to the order and it hadn't been started. We cancelled the order and left, therefore I can't tell you what the food was like as we didn't get any. Customer service poor. I did speak to a waitress and asked for our feedback to be passed on oto management. Hopefully this was done. I am giving 2 star for the salmon and they have a great...

We thought Blues Social Eatery was going to be great since it has all five star reviews. Sadly we were quite disappointed and I wouldn't go back.

We booked for mother's day without being advised of the $60 set menu. It was regular menu items so that was okay, but we only wanted one course. What was odd was the items on the menu would've been about $45 + 10% Sunday surcharge on the regular menu but were $60 for mother's day.

It was reasonably full but not that many guests overall. It was an hour and a half wait for the first course at about 2:45pm. A set menu should not be that slow. Groups that came in later got their meals before us, not sure what happened with that. Mum was given the wrong meal and had to wait even longer for hers (not great for mother's day).

The Korean chicken serve was tiny, dry and bland. Straight up an entree serve. The rest were large. Unsure why it's such a small serve when for example the steak costs way more? Dishes from both courses were fairly underwhelming. Guests that had the Korean chicken were hungry as soon as they got home.

There were no lactose free desserts so one of our guests couldn't have dessert. Still had to pay the full $60 of course...

The environment was fairly loud. Would benefit from something to soak sound. Toilets are pretty gross and really need a reno.

I feel so guilty that I took mum to a place that wasn't enjoyable. So expensive for...

Went out for our first ever brunch with our twin girls (8 week old on this day) and a great mate of ours. Not going to lie, I was super anxious, twin prams are huge and tend to be an inconvenience for people around you and forvthe most part dont fut through a standard suzed door, which made me even more anxious. I must commend Blue on being so accommodating of our twin pram situation. Not only do they have double doors (YASSS) but we were actually able to fit through the one open door. We were given a great table with lots of space (inside the Cafe to stay warm) for the girls. Thank you. Ok no that that's done, the food and Cafe itself....... The Cafe has lots of parking is warm and welcoming. The staff are beautiful and friendly. We love Blue. On this day o ordered the eggs Benny with Lobster, unfortunately they had no lobster but that was easily fixed with some fresh smoked salmon, and not just the packed smoked salmon, the proper flakey stuff. 🤤🤤. My hubby had the we congee which was delightful ( I always sneak a bite) and our little man had pancakes. As always perfect coffees, perfectly poached eggs and an on point baby chino for the toddler who had the time of his life. Im goona put it out there and say this is a twin pram friendly Cafe and as always great spot for breakfast lunch or even dinner.......

We ordered dumplings, they were quite delicious, a sausage roll which was huge but lacked flavour, a quiche which my partner thoroughly enjoyed and our son had kids waffles.. I think the photos speak for themselves. One waffle for $14.50 which came out over cooked - literally burnt. It tasted stale and overall just foul. We went when there wasn’t many people in so I really don’t understand how you could burn something so easy and still decide to serve it to a KID! Definitely won’t be back in a hurry nor suggest it to other people.

Unfortunately it was abysmal. Overcooked poached eggs are generally not good but when they’re cooked with vinegar and it goes through on to the undercooked toast, it was simply inedible. My friends was the same. Bacon was ok but one rash was $4.50. Coffee came out 20mins after the food arrived. I let the staff know it wasn’t very nice when they asked how my food was and she just sighed and took my plate, so wasn’t made to feel very welcome on seating or comfortable on leaving. Not worth the $69 we paid.
