These Japanese Macaque are amazing creatures. We stopped and watched them for a good 30 minutes. The troop dynamics are so interesting to watch.

We visited the evening prior and realized that the troop move inside from around 4pm so make sure you visit before then.

Wow what an amazing thing to find. A troop of Japanese Macaques leaping around in a Tasmanian park. They are in an enclosure of course, but they are still pretty freaking amazing. There were little baby ones hanging with mums and uncles. There were big old grouchy ones. It was fun watching their personalities...

Super sad the monkey sanctuary, all of them are depressed, it’s not a place for them to live. They are dying inside. I hope they are moved to the right place. Australia, being a supposedly species-protective country, I can’t understand why they keep...
