THE House of Spuds — Restaurant in Launceston

It's hard to give negative reviews, especially when the staff were lovely. However, polite staff is about the only positive thing that I can say about the house of spuds. We paid $30 for 2 roast potatoes which we ended up giving to the dog.

Basically, this was stodgy servo fare. Foodcourts do it better than this.

Now, I see a lot of 5 star reviews, so maybe I missed something or maybe it was the cook's first night. I'm not from Launceston, so I won't be giving it another go.

Food was awful, tasted bland, and cold. Service was okay. But the food and the service wasn’t the worst part of my experience. One of the workers who served us was wearing a hairnet. But she had her hair fully down. It’s most likely there was hair in the food served as she was working in the kitchen. Also can’t stress the price of the food.
