We went here last night. Arrived at 5.45PM the restaurant was not very busy. Ordered soups and mains, got the soups. Then a lot of tables came in and the kitchen served them all their entrees and forgot about our mains. At one point a waitress rushed over to our table and said nothing! Just stood there. I said to her, ‘did you forget to place our mains order? We are still waiting for our mains’ but she didn’t say a word to us, she just ran away. A complete lack of communication at this point, we were left guessing what’s happened?? We were catching a flight and decided to not wait for our mains and got up to pay for our soups. We had been there for 1 hour at that point. We were greeted at the front of the restaurant with our mains. I explained that we didn’t have much time and thought they had forgotten about our meals. We were told that they were very busy and I could come out into the kitchen to see how busy they are! We declined the invite to see the kitchen, and decided to stay and eat the mains. Our food was bland, lifeless and oily. Wow, could not believe how tasteless the meals where, extremely disappointing! One of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this restaurant on service or food. If something has gone wrong with placing an order, at least have a proper conversation with your customers to let them make an informed decision, don’t just run upto the table, say nothing and run away, and expect them to understand what’s going on. Our total was $98…we...

My family of 4 and I came to have an early dinner arriving at 5:25 thinking we’d have a quick dinner and go home, we ordered our drinks and our meals (we got the dynasty banquet) our drinks and our soup came out not long after however think we waited nearly 30-45 minutes after our soup for our entrees, the soup was abit bland needed salt, the entrees were ok I wasn’t very impressed it was just kinda ok, then I think we waited 25-30 more minutes for our mains, the sweet and sour pork along with the fried rice was probably my favourite, everything else I wasn’t too impressed by, the Mongolian lamb was the spiciest one I’ve ever had, the calamari was extremely spicy and left a hot feeling on my lips until I left, the food wasn’t very good overall, I then kept trying to get the attention of the server and she looked at me multiple times and walked away then when she did come over she was rude and I had asked for Take-Away containers and our deep fried ice cream, when we got the deep fried ice cream it was the worst I’ve ever had the crumbing was something I’ve never had before, there wasn’t any sauce on top it just wasn’t very impressive. There were 2 other servers who were...

Felt very disappointed with my experience here tonight. Sister in law rang prior to check to see if there was any vegan options available & was told yes. Booking made & when we arrived I was told the only vegan thing on the menu was plain rice. Opted to not eat as I didn't want to make a big deal out of it & certainly didn't want plain rice for tea. Sister in law questioned it when she found out as she was upset for me & then another person came to discuss options with me that was only stir fried vegetables but with no sauces as the ALL have some type of animal product in them like oyster or fish sauce. I couldn't even have tofu with my vegetables as I was told it is fried in oils that other animal products have been cooked in. People who choose to eat vegan are becoming more common & I felt that it shouldn't have been difficult to just have a simple stir fry with veg & tofu even with soy, lemongrass & ginger which would have all been available in an Asian restaurant. I was even informed that the chilli sauce has oyster sauce in it!!!!

Sadly I was very disappointed & I won't be returning until some better vegan options become...

Food is good. We live in Melbourne for over 37 years, the two dishes we had today were one of the best that my wife and I ever had. Thank you for the quality food! However service needs a little bit of work specially when new faces come in.The atmosphere is closely related with service. Finally wish the restaurant all the best!

If you want a traditional Chinese fine dining experience then this is the place. Selections of food and drinks. The only thing they don't do is cocktails. They have vegetarian options as well as vegan options on request but minimal. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Very traditional. Will come again when we are in Launceston.
