We are new to living in Tasmania and have been to Mojo a few times, as the coffee is pretty good. Yesterday (a Monday morning) I went to grab a takeaway coffee. I was served by a very unenthusiastic young girl who asked me to repeat my simple coffee order for takeaway (do I want takeaway or dine in was asked twice even though I’d initially said takeaway coffee). My name was not requested, I assumed all would be quick and smooth. I them proceeded to watch the team do not very much at all. They chatted and drifted around. Another customer came in to order a takeaway coffee of whom the staff congregated around and chatted some more. She was then served her coffee. On observing this and still waiting I noticed a small takeaway cup on the side bench (beside coffee machine). I politely asked ‘Is this a small skinny latte?. A young girl making coffee whom could barely be bothered answering replied ‘not sure what that is’. I then said - I am still waiting on my ……… oh ok was the apathetic response.

My coffee was made and I happily left a cafe that is lacking any sort of buzz in customer service. On our few visits to Mojo we have noticed a slightly relaxed approach to getting food/drinks out. This was pretty disappointing for a relatively quiet Monday. I’m not sure we...

I have been meaning to share a review about Mojo for months now. It is my absolute favourite coffee shop in Launceston, which I visit at least once a week. The coffee is always hot, and the service is quick and friendly. I have never had a negative experience at Mojo. They have the sweetest barista, who always makes my day with her messages on my coffee cups. On the odd occasion I grab a bite to eat, it's delicious and fresh. Thanks Mojo. I will always walk past every other coffee shop for you! Its 100% worth the extra walk...

Mojo has fast become a fave place to visit for the friendly service, delish and well priced menu and great coffee. The soups over winter were so tasty and generously sized, and you can’t beat a toasted chicken and pesto panini style toastie. Arty atmosphere inside, and lots of people watching opportunities from the outdoor seating. Staff make you feel like you are welcomed and appreciated, a trait that seems to have dwindled at some other establishments sadly. Well...

Phenomenal coffee!! I had a latte and it was smooth, perfectly made and the beans tasted high quality! My sister said the hot chocolate was delicious as well. The food was great. Huge portions, nice sourdough bread and decent prices comparatively. I will definitely be revisiting, especially for the coffee!!!

Quick & very friendly service, meals are huge for price. We had waffles with maple bacon (super yummy, but very sweet). My son had scrambled eggs & sourdough toast, both perfect. Not kid friendly like "play area" level, but staff were lovely despite our two toddlers making a bit of a mess.
