Discovered this little gem looking for coffee in the morning, decided to come back for lunch... The staff are amazing and friendly. The coffee (takeaway) was great and quick. Lunch was on a whole other level. I had the chicken burger, hubby had the Mighty Burger and my daughter had the kids cheeseburger. The food was excellent. Absolutely huge servings. I could only get through a quarter of my chicken burger, even my husband struggled to get through his. Being from the mainland we have no shortage of burger joints/cafes (I worked in a few myself). I cannot fault the food or the service. It is a little on the pricey side ($93 for 2 adults and a teenager). Highly recommend this place, we will most likely be back before heading back to...

We were visiting launceston and was looking for a good breakfast cafe when we found this little gem. If you're looking for a breakfast spot that serves up some seriously delicious French toast, look no further than this lovely cafe.

But what really sets this French toast apart is the attention to detail and portion size. And when it comes to toppings, this cafe does not disappoint. The prices here are so affordable compared to other cafes we visited in Launceston. Keep up the low prices 👏 The eggs on sourdough was also on point and price was just right 👌

The only negative would be limited sitting area inside so we had to sit outside and there was a small line which meant this was a popular cafe...

Truly loved our first visit to this cafe today! Booked ahead and arrived to be seated and let know the kitchen was under staffed due to two unwell employees. They not only accommodated all our needs, but their attention to detail and care was great. We didn't want to bother with mentioning a forgotten relish side dish, but within five minutes they caught the mistake themselves and amended it with grace. A very caring and friendly establishment with some absolutely amazing food. Very well priced too! My partner and I both had meals that were so plentiful that we couldn't quite finish them, beautiful coffee also! Walked out without paying more than $50, so we were stoked and full...

I checked all the reviews on all the food places in the area & this place came out on top for the best people's choice place to eat. I had the big breakfast & a banana milk shake. The food was all perfectly cooked & i don't like sour dough bread so I changed order to white bread. The prices are quite high here tho & will cost you alot. But it was a decent meal & perfectly cooked. Went to perfect potatoes next day & they were fantastic & more affordable for those on a budget. Both great in there own way. Burger junkie would be my third choice. & believe me I read all the reviews before I go anywhere.

I’m really glad I found this place. As a tourist and someone who reviews a lot of spots this little gem truly stood out. The coffee was spot on, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely lovely. It’s tucked away and a bit hard to find (which kind of fits the name), but that adds to its charm. The prices were fair too. If I had to give one bit of constructive feedback, I’d say the space could benefit from a little decluttering to really make it an 11 out of 10. The décor just wasn’t quite my taste, but that’s a personal thing. Overall, a great local hideout café I’d happily recommend.
