This is meant to be the best beef restaurant in Margaret River/Western Australia. It’s lit like Kmart, although a number of globes are broken. It has a sponsored fridge in the restaurant that clearly should not be displayed. The wine List is one page long Which proves they know nothing about wine and are cash strapped and do not have space to store ,and we are in the middle of one of the greatest wine regions in Australia. The steak choices are only grain fed. There is no grass fed option Anywhere. The atmosphere is more akin To a restaurant created by target or Woolworths, the lighting is so bright you would swear you’re in shopping mall. That said four Of the light globes hadn’t been replaced and there was dust on the remaining. The sides were tiny, The sauces Runny, The interior design was 0 design: and just interior, the art work and cheap pov looking candle holders recently acquired for an op shop all for around $100 total. The meat was overcooked, one job cook steak properly!! thats why you go to a steak house, we were not given steak knives and the wine had not been cellared, it was served at 24°, That desert was purchased from a local bakery. The aircon didn’t work, so thankfully the front door was left open! Overall I’m sure you can imagine the food was a 3 out of 10 and Decor was 2 out of 10. The service was surprisingly a 3 to half out of 10. Value for money 3 out of 10z This restaurant would survive less than a month in Sydney or Melbourne. The staff were friendly, there is no leadership on the floor, the staff. All foreigners had no education and could not answer any questions. I strongly recommend anyone who is gagging for a steak to not come here, either take that gag reflex Home or go to the Korean restaurant. You can cook your own Meat high quality for around 40% of the price. This is quite possibly one of the worst “steak houses” I have ever eaten at. Don’t let them take a deposit, not gonna last, because it will be gone...
Read moreI arrived yesterday at 6:15pm and the drinks waiter came to me around 6:30 i was happy enough to wait 15mins but when i spoke to her about the dried aged steak she told me she can only take drink orders as she is a bartender and not a waiter, so i waited about 1hr and 10mins to speak to the correct waiter and asked for a medium rare Dry aged steak 650g rib eye with paris mash potatoes everything was clear how i wanted it. About 20mins after ordering i spoke to the same waiter that ordered the steak and got a 15year old wiskey on the rocks and by the time my food arrived all the ice had melted i thought waiting 20mins wouldve been sufficient timing to order the wiskey to pair with the dry aged steak and the waiter brought me my food after about 45+mins from when he served me the wiskey, It’s sad to say that the steak was mediocre and was cooked to medium/well-done when the waiter spoke after taking some photos and only eating a couple slices he had the audacity to tell me that it was my fault the food was over cooked (as i was having a cigarette out the front) watching my table waiting for my food to be served as i had waited over two hours to eat in a less then half full restaurant with no offer to make things right or cushion the expenses i grabbed the check and wasted $200 on a bad experience and bad service/ over cooked food it was chewy and tough i ate the pink pieces but left the...
Read moreI would have loved to have tried Elliot's food but unfortunately my partner and I felt very finessed when we got there as the menu they had on the table was double the price of the menu they had advertised, we could afford the table menu but unfortunately we just felt uneasy about the situation and the transparency of the business after such false advertising. Edit: The menu we saw advertised was posted on the 20th of February and were there on the 20th of June and the prices had more than doubled in that time. Honestly, I find the response from the restaurant beyond poor, considering that their menu has dramatically changed so much in such a short period of time with zero posts or transparency to their customers whatsoever- at the end of the day we went to your linked page, saw the pinned menu you had posted 4 months ago and went to your restaurant looking for that. What we found was not that at all so you need to change your website to show what you ACTUALLY offer- or perhaps getting a proper website where your information can be relayed in a more accurate and concise way rather than using Facebook. Milkshake have a great free website builder- and to disregard my personal experience as a weird vendetta against a family business rather than taking the feedback on board...
