Food Room — Restaurant in Margaret River

I am a local and The Food Room is my one of my favourite places to eat. They are a local takeaway/dine in café located in Margaret river. It has an abundant range of nutritious and healthy foods.

Mum and I walked into the Food Room and looked around for something that caught our eyes. There were many different meals and drinks such as coffee, fresh juice, smoothies, gluten free wraps, rolls, homemade nori rolls, sandwiches, baguettes, burgers, pies and bakery treats. I decided to choose the chicken, cheese, avocado and dried tomato baguette, and Mum chose a Moroccan chicken toasted wrap. We both had a seat in the corner of the small yet perfectly sized café. We could look out into town which was quite entertaining.

Our food came within about five minutes. They have very quick service. Not only was our food warm, the cheese was stringy and the chicken melted in my mouth. I ate it very quickly as it was an incredibly well balance meal. I had a bite of mum’s Moroccan chicken toasty and it was delicious!

I looked at their menu and spotted the power chai and decided to order a large which was only fifty cents more than the small. The drink came within a couple of minutes and was in a very generous proportion; so very worth the money. Mum thought the power chai or so called, “Dirty chai” (a mix between chai and coffee) was very nice and said she would definitely order that again next time she came in. I tried some and it was by far the best chai I ever had; the soft yet spicy smooth tasting herbal drink warmed my core.

I had a great experience at the Food Room. This café is a perfect place to go to start your day with a bang or end it with a nice cold drink.

Best coffee in Margs and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. After 10 you get a freebie too, so get a loyalty card and rack em up. Best food as well. Baguettes to die for. Not too crunchy on the outside and soft n fluffy on the inside. No weird food combinations. Just good old beef n salad, ham n cheese, turkey, tuna, and amazing home made cakes. Their little hotties are a delicious gooey melted conglomeration of cheese and salami. And...the staff are...
