7 Apples Gelato — Restaurant in Melbourne

My partner and I ordered from here today and after leaving we noticed that the mango sorbet tasted "off" we returned to ask if we could change it for something else. The staff at the front were lovely and went to confirm with the manager before allowing us to make another selection. The manager requested she sample the same sorbet we had originally rejected and then proceeded to yell " ITS FINE " more than once as well as glaring at us through the glass, in some sort of attempt at either intimidating or embarrassing us Infront of staff and other customers, we tried to do the right thing by giving the business an opportunity to resolve an issue and the staff as well as ourselves were all kind and respectful of each other however the mangers behaviour and reaction is the reason for this 1 star review ( also the mango sorbet tasted like fish and not "FINE"). Instead of quickly resolving a small issue and possibly having 2 returning customers the managers actions have led to this review as well as both of us never returning. Hopefully the staff are treated better as they were very professional...

We absolutely loved our visit to 7apples gelato! It’s such a perfect spot for a sweet treat! 🤤 Love that they are generous with their scoops and such a vibrant store! 🍦The flavours are so good and there’s so much variety. We tried their strawberry sorbet, pistachio, coffee, raspberry and chocolate and it did not disappoint! 🍓🍓 🍒🍇Highly recommend the passionfruit and pistachio flavours.
