Bar Up — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went there for my birthday on Saturday and thanking the security there for ruining my birthday! They were rough and rude. They are not afraid to have their hands on you to push you around to clear the pathway, we also had a friend on wheelchair and they asked her to go outside and not stay under the shelter whilst it was raining.. I know the owners of the bar and they should do a proper check on their staff as It felt like they were crims themselves, allowing shady people to do their business in there. Very dissapointing. We went out for a smoke around 2.15am which was right outside of the bar and were not warned that we couldn't go back in to collect my bag or get my friends to leave and instead was asked to stay outside and the security guard will bring my bag outside! As if I'm gonna let him get my personal belongings whilst my family and friends were inside and in the interim those shady people were allowed as they knew the security guards in there. Just under an hour ago i was aggressively shoved out of the bar because “the girls i was with wouldn’t stop looking at the body guard” i politely told the body guard that it was probably an accident. But he tightly gripped my shoulder brought my closer and aggressively told me to tell the girls to stop. It was at this point I asked if he could take his hand off my shoulder because it hurt. When i placed my hand on his hand to remove it he shoved me into the crowd, grabbed me without prompt and viciously shoved me out of the venue. Keep in mind I was sober, and that none of the other body guards cared to listen to the story. The worst part was that he raised his hand at my girlfriend who was pleading him to stop, this is not acceptable at all. I politely asked if I could use their bathroom as I had personal reasons that I needed to ( I’m a female) as the line for all the other places was extreme (40 plus minutes wait ) . I even offered to pay for a drink so I count as a customer.

They did not listen to me at all.

I have never been so mistreated in my life. The man yelled at me and basically rushed me out the door and then slammed in in my face yelling we are not a public bathroom. I’m disgraced?! I’m a young female who wanted to use the loo. Are you being serious?!! What type of treatment is this ? I was completely mistreated despite my happiness to be a customer. The workers here are EXTREMELY rude. Go here if you want to be yelled at, judged and to not be treated like a human being. Awful...
