We spent approximately $178 on our meal (which I found overpriced for each dish) and, unfortunately, found the food quite disappointing. Many dishes were either overly salty—extremely so—or completely lacking in flavor. For the entrées, we ordered Boo Ja and Crying Tiger, which were acceptable. However, the main dishes were underwhelming. The Blossom Ginger Barramundi was bland, and the Nuer Aroy (sliced marinated beef stir-fried with a special sauce, onion, cashew nuts, spring onion, and sesame seeds) was excessively salty, with some pieces tasting burnt. The Chicken Pad Thai, a staple Thai dish, lacked authentic Thai flavor and tasted more like a version adjusted to suit Western tastes. Additionally, I specifically requested “no peanuts” for the Pad Thai, and the gentleman taking my order confirmed this, but it was still served with peanuts, which was concerning. The Rockling Fish with Black Pepper (served without the hot plate for safety reasons) was overly salty and heavily seasoned with pepper, making it difficult to enjoy. On the positive side, the gentleman serving us was exceptionally friendly and professional, which we greatly appreciated. His service deserves commendation and is the reason for the 5-star rating in that regard. Unfortunately, the food itself fell short of our expectations, especially compared to other Thai restaurants we frequent, such as Kin Thai at Chadstone, which offers more authentic Thai flavors. Overall, the dishes at this establishment seemed to be tailored more for Western tastes, which was disappointing given our preference for authentic Thai cuisine. The experience left us questioning how the establishment maintains a 4.6-star rating.

The food was okay but most dishes I would consider undersized for the price. Service was good, but I did have a waiter ask if he could take the table I was sitting at away (presumably to seat more diners, I was in a large group).. which really took me by surprise. We were seated right up against the restaurants bathroom, which was annoying to have people squeeze behind our seat to get to the door. Only 1 baby high chair for the whole restaurant.. so we had 2 kids unable to be seated and had to have them take turns sitting on laps while we ate. Overall, even though the food was okay, my dining experience unfortunately on this occasion just had me wanting for it to be over with sooner rather than later, and go elsewhere for dessert. I'm sure this would have been a much more positive experience if we were in a smaller group and seated elsewhere. This isn't the restaurant you'd want to go to if you had a group of more than 4 or 5.

I had such a great time at Blossom Thai in South Yarra last night! The vibe was super elegant with cozy lighting that made the whole place feel really welcoming. We kicked things off with two glasses of delicious white wine from Italy, which really set the mood for the evening. The food was absolutely amazing! The Pad Thai beef was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. And let me tell you, the Duck Red Curry was a real winner - tender, full of flavor, and loaded with veggies. We couldn't resist ordering some coconut rice to go with it, and it was the perfect complement to our mains. To finish off our meal, we indulged in a traditional dessert served in a banana leaf - such a cool touch! Overall, Blossom Thai totally knocked it out of the park. We're already planning our next visit because we had such a fantastic time. If you're in the mood for some top-notch Thai food in South Yarra, this place is a must-try!

Was Sunday evening, we just finished our lovely show in city, so perfect time for our dinner and was our cheat day as always on Sundays:) Beautiful looking stylish restaurant from outside and inside was our first huge impression:) Right away lovely staff was smiley, very welcoming and helpful. Important is great service for every hospitality and here was phenomenal! Lovely table next to window was my choice and was able to enjoy it. All dishes were so amazing well presented and delicious, with great explanation from our Sunday staff lovely guy:) Fish cake, dumplings, scallops. following amazing curries and beef salad. Food was that tasty we needed to take take away for second round at home:) EXCELLENT!!! thank you Blossom gang for this wonderful experience and martini will be back very soon:)

Second time and just phenomenal as expected::)) thank you martini:)

I ordered from here on UberEats because the reviews looked incredible. However the two for one deal clearly seems to be some sort of way for them to churn out food with no effort as the noodles I ordered were some of the most bland and flavourless I've ever eaten. Tiny handful of vegies, tiny portion overall and just really sub-par. Looked nothing like the photos either. The two takeaway serves were probably equivalent to one main that you'd order in the restaurant.

Not very fair to draw people in with a deal and then reduce the quality :( Very disappointed.

[Edit] Since there doesn't seem to be a way to reply, I'll just add it here. I understand times are tough but if you are telling me it's OK to cut corners at the customer's expense to save money on a promotion then that's why this review will stay here. As mentioned I checked photos of this dish, it was missing key ingredients and was half the size. So you didn't make it properly and that's why I'm upset. If you want to try again, then I'd be interested in giving it another go and adjusting my review...
