I’m writing the review that I wish someone had written for me. Dominoes is great, but when you have a store that deliberately tries to break their own quality controls, you end up with shocking results, like my story below.
I ordered at 6:45 via the app for this store with a 15-35min delivery window. After an hour, I called the store, getting through on the 5th attempt; I was informed my delivery would take 40min longer, before they abruptly hanged up (despite me being extremely polite and barely having the chance to note that I was enquiring about a late order). I know they weren’t trying to help, because they didn’t ask for my address or name (how did they know who was calling, i ordered via the app and used my wife’s mobile)??
At 8:20 (1.5hrs after ordering) the app declared that the pizza had been delivered (suspiciously without GPS tracking for the driver), however nothing was at my door or on my security camera; I called the store 7 times without success (ringing out). I then tried calling 3 other stores, all of which could not help (you’re at the mercy of the store that has your order). The app also doesn’t have a proper help function, it instead relies on and is at the mercy of the stores. In this regard, a bad store (like Flemington) can just take your money without any recourse.
At 10 to 9 something cold and genuinely disgusting arrived without apology and, again, without app notifications or GPS delivery tracking. The app also didn’t recognise this delivery, likely again, due to the store breaking quality control rules.
I put the old, cold, congealed, disgusting food in the bin (you would have too) and went to bed. I actually deleted the app in the morning.
The moral of the story? Whatever you do, don’t order from this store (this is their 2nd big mistake out of 2 orders, for a spectacular 100% failure rate), even if the app selects this store by default you can change it to another location. This is important as if things go wrong, you can’t get your money back and the food may not be edible (assuming it arrives).
If you must order using this broken Dominoes app, use PayPal, so you have at least a chance of getting your money back.

Update - the store posted a comment below. However, I’ve already followed their suggestion and I sent feedback to them via an email 2 days ago (update - it’s been over a week now). Unsurprisingly, no answer to that email, as they’re more interested in writing something publicly that sounds like they care, when they clearly don’t. How disappointing and misleading.

I ordered from Domino’s on 2/6/2025 at 7pm and got the cookie dough dessert—tell me why it was completely RAW. I’m not talking a little gooey—this was straight up uncooked dough. I went back to complain and the staff couldn’t care less. The girl behind the counter tried to tell me it’s “meant to be like that,” making me feel like I was the crazy one. Then a few seconds later she’s like, “Oh yeah, it is raw, sorry”—so calm like it happens all the time. Are you joking??
Worse, I noticed she was using the same gloves to handle food, cook, and hand out orders without changing them. That’s a major health violation. Cross-contamination much?? No hygiene, no awareness, nothing. This is a HUGE health hazard and honestly disgusting.
Not long after eating the raw dessert (because I didn’t even realize it was raw at first), I was violently vomiting for hours. I could’ve gotten food poisoning, or worse. I’m seriously shocked this place is even allowed to operate like that.

Tried calling them but no one picked up , then i called the North Melbourne store (these people were pretty good on phone)and they also tried the flemington store and no one picked up . 30 min later i tried again and thankfully someone picked. I ordered and gave my card details twice (as he said it was declined)- same time i checked my balance etc to ensure everything was ok from my end. He had entered incorrect details and I had to repeat again and again. He finally said it is declined and hung up . Online ordering was not detecting the address i wanted the delivery for hence had to call the store. After wasting 15 min or so , giving my card details , i still couldn't place the order.
