I used to love this restaurant, it was the best Hecho en Mexico around, but after about 1.5 years of not going there, we decided to go back and dear! we were disappointed. The food has changed, it did not taste the same. the portions were significantly smaller, the service was just average. We were wondering why it was so quiet on a Friday night. It used to be packed. He thought maybe it was too cold for people, but sadly we later understood. Two girls knew what they were doing but the rest had no clue about restaurant service. My husband ordered a beer, and a guy brought just the can like it was a bottle shop and we were taking it away. We asked for a glass and he brought a ceramic glass, the small glasses they serve the water in. I had to explain to him beer is served in tall glass cups. He finally brought a glass cup and the glass was not even from the fridge. It was so warm. Entries and main meals came all at the same time so we could not fit it all on our table it was a very uncomfortable meal and experience. I am very sad. I believe it changed management or ownership because it used to be 10 out of 10, but now is just average. I don't believe I will be going back. I have one hecho en Mexico 3 min from my house, but always considered Brighton one the best. That is now the past. I hope it can go back on track otherwise it is worrying. All the best to the person running it and I hope he/she takes this wake-up call.
