Read moreWith a mixed heart I write this review. If all you care about is the quality of the food well, it was good for two of us but pretty average for two others in our group. The seafood dish and wagyu curry were hot and delicious. My sons low FODMAP calamari was cold when it arrived and came without the chips listed in the menu. My daughters fried chicken was on a par with supermarket oven fried chicken. She didn’t eat it all.
Otherwise, the experience was total chaos. It took close to an hour and a half for all our meals and drinks to arrive. The first main came in 30 minutes then another persons main at 60mins. They then left to buy drinks at another place, and while they were gone our final two arrived.
We were told certain drinks weren’t available yet tables arriving after us were given those drinks too.
Looking at the reviews very slow service is a common complaint.
We had to make three trips to the counter to follow up on our order.
The atmosphere is cheap and fast Vietnamese - this isn’t a moody romantic or atmospheric restaurant at all. We love Vietnamese food but after such excitement when hearing of it, and two of the mains being good, the rest of our night was ruined by poor service and...
